Yes, yes, calm yourselves, ladies. And no need to thank me. I am merely performing a charitable act – that of bestowing No Min Woo back to the drama world. The production of SBS’s upcoming Mon-Tues drama Midas finally wised up, and unleashed the first set of character stills for No Min Noo. He plays the younger brother of self-made … Continue reading →
I need some help people. If you are enjoying My Princess, or enjoying my recaps of it, or hopefully both, can you leave a comment telling me? I need something positive to motivate me to finish recapping this drama, which I vow to do. I’m thisclose to tearing my hair out having to suffer through another interminable episode of “The … Continue reading →
MBC’s current weekend drama Flames of Desire is burning up the screens with its epic pathos, but its successor looks to do an about-turn and go the cheerful, upbeat route. Earlier in January, rising actress Hwang Jung Eum was cast as the lead of Can You Hear My Heart, and this week her leading man was selected – fresh out of the … Continue reading →
We’re entering the final stretch of My Princess, and boy am I glad. I am ready to finish up this drama (and this recap series) and move on. Every episode of MP since episode 8, I’ve found myself genuinely enjoying isolated scenes, but not really connecting with the totality each episode. Frankly, the delightful moments are getting fewer and fewer, and … Continue reading →
I must have magical super powers, at least that is what I’m going to keep telling myself. One day after posting about Han Hyo Joo and wondering when/what her next project would be, the girl goes and gets herself cast as the lead in the upcoming move Only You, which has already got its leading man in So Ji Sub.
Continue reading →I haven’t watched episode 11 of My Princess yet, but I worry that the drama is getting bogged down in the same old issues. I wish Seol would just take up Hae Young’s offer, and let the rest of the drama be about Seol and Hae Young getting back to the palace and convincing the public they’d make a perfect … Continue reading →
These series of mise-en-scene CFs may just be one of the best K-drama inspired couples CFs I’ve ever seen. From the concept to the execution, everything was perfectly tailored for the couple in question – Ha Ji Won and Jo In Sung, who had just come off a sizzling onscreen turn as Lee Soo Jung and Jung Jae Min in … Continue reading →
Han Hyo Joo has been doing a slew of endorsements since she recently wrapped up a 9 month long drama shoot for Dong Yi. While I hated Dong Yi with a passion, I still love Han Hyo Joo regardless, because I find her effortlessly charming and radiant, even if she’s not the best actress in the book. Amongst all her … Continue reading →
I don’t have anything really positive or negative to say about the upcoming SBS Mon-Tues drama Midas (following Athena: Goddess of War) if I balance the various elements against each other. Positive – Jang Hyuk (he’s so god-awesome he can singlehandedly take this entire side of the scale). Negative – a script by famed screenwriter Choi Wan Kyu (All In, … Continue reading →
Clearly that picture above is not from Yoo Ah In modeling any collection called Jack & Jill that existed in the Joseon era. I don’t blog about Yoo Ah In much, since there are plenty of blogs spreading the Moony love, and he’s not done any projects since finishing Sungkyunkwan Scandal. By digging up a picture of his star-making turn in SS, … Continue reading →
It’s the year of the Rabbit, and two little Geun rabbits are off to the races. Wishing my precious cuties a prosperous and happy year – filled with moons, butterflies, and a drinking date, at the very least. Bringing you some Mary Stayed Out All Night goodies.
Continue reading →My Princess episode 10 left us, and Seol, in the middle of a choice for the ages – Smexy Diplomat Hae Young or being a bona fide princess for life. Hhhm, hard choice. I personally want both, so I would elect to be a princess, and then decree that Park Hae Young must be given to me as my prince … Continue reading →
W.O.W. That was a great episode 10 of Dream High. I’m having a hard time concentrating on writing this post. No spoilers about what happened, except for using a post-topping picture of the kiss between Hye Mi and Jin Gook which everyone has been chattering about for the last week. I really love how the story continues to move the … Continue reading →
