The the next phase for C-movie Nothing Can’t be Undone by a Hotpot was faster than expected. The movie premiered on May 1st in China and was pulled a week later after embarrassingly low ticket sales. Everyone keeps asking when Lost You Forever part 2 will air and insiders say it will be July, which makes it a full year since the first half aired. It’s frustrating to see such momentum broken but if the second half is as good as the first then it won’t be a problem to bring the viewers back and hopefully … Continue reading →
It’s totally a black mirror version of fact meets fiction with Byun Woo Seok‘s breakout in Lovely Runner. I watched it all with Park Bo Gum‘s male lead character in Record of Youth‘s narrative so it’s even cuter that it’s happened to Byun Woo Seok in RL since in the drama his character ended up getting the short end of … Continue reading →

I can only say thank god this drama is airing on global platform Netflix which for the most part doesn’t have to adhere to as much of the social cues as the mainstream channels in Korea. Otherwise this would probably be shelved but instead game show mystery thriller K-drama The 8 Show is arriving on cue. Starring an ensemble cast … Continue reading →
So with Joy of Life 2 premiering mid-May on the 16th, other dramas are steering clear of it but not Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact (also known as the Yue Hong chapter), or at least just not entirely. That drama earlier this year was already rumored for a May release and it’s sticking to it. The xianxia drama is … Continue reading →
Popular K-stars Park Bo Gum and Suzy have been the mood for the entire week. First they cohosted the 2024 Baeksang Arts Awards and now they are promoting the movie Wonderland together. So hopefully this is quell the loud complaints from the last two weeks by K-actress Kim Hye Yoon’s fandom. Her drama Lovely Runner has been doing fantastic in online buzz and positive reviews and the ratings albeit not a hit is still trending upwards from 3% to over 4% and likely to go a 1-2 points higher by the end. … Continue reading →
