Woah mommy and daddy combined levels of star power rolled into one. tvN drama Hotel Del Luna has broke 10% ratings already and generally averaged in the 8-9% range, a really great showing and probably the best Hong Sisters drama in years in both ratings and reviews. It’s brought in the wins without the big name star power, honestly IU … Continue reading →

K-idol Lee Jong Hyun of CNBLUE has announced that he is officially leaving the band after he got involved in another scandal this week. A sexy and popular young female Youtuber … Continue reading →
The initial media hurricane is over with the Gu Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun divorce, likely due to both sides not using SNS and public statements to further fan the flames of rubbernecking interest. Ahn Jae Hyun has current variety shows and a new drama coming up while Gu Hye Sun published a book two months ago and recently … Continue reading →
I’m so ready to go on an adventure with Lee Seung Gi as the titular SBS drama lead in Vagabond. Wherever he’s headed it looks gorgeously picturesque such as the latest stills from the overseas location shoot in Morocco. He’s got the seasoned and weathered angry look down pat as a stuntman searching for answers in a plane crash that … Continue reading →

Man, I was a mess of tears this weekend watching both episodes 13 and 14 of Hotel Del Luna. It’s all Chung Myung related because I just feel sooooooo awful for Lee Do Hyun’s character and his 1300 years of flitting around that tree as a firefly keeping watch over IU’s Man Wol. And if she had just called his … Continue reading →

Dramas span a gamut of genres and each story requires its own suitable actor and actress to fill out the roles. That’s why I hope the continued exodus of talented veteran K-drama leads whether male or female still leaves a solid group to continue working in the industry. I worry about the day where I truly don’t see any familiar … Continue reading →
Sorry I haven’t written about Hotel Del Luna in depth for the last three weeks, I’ve been traveling and the drama did feel more like a case of the week type story in recent episodes. At least until this weekend’s episodes 13-14, which form the set up episodes leading into next weekend’s big finale and goodness I am so pumped … Continue reading →
