See, I always think it’s hard to run into famous people and apparently it’s hard for famous people as well to run into other famous people. Top Japan star Kimura Takuya posted on his SNS a picture with him next to HK superstar Tony Leung, with him looking I would if I ran into Tony Leung. The two stars actually … Continue reading →

The drama is actually 2/3rds into its run even though it’s only aired 8 episodes, … Continue reading →
This full lead casting will be so perfect and epic but there are still too many moving parts to celebrate just yet. K-actor Jang Seung Jo may join the upcoming melodrama healing romance Chocolate as the second male lead, with offers out to Yoon Kye Sang and Ha Ji Won as the main leads with the script penned by famed … Continue reading →
Ok, I’ve officially got my next 8-week obsession lined up, every other drama gotta thank you, next and move to the side. The tvN rom-com Her Private Life released script reading stills and all I did was squee really loudly and scare my neighbors when I laid eyes on leads Kim Jae Wook and Park Min Young in the same … Continue reading →
The Hong Sisters are going a lot younger in lead ages with their upcoming drama, a fantasy and supernatural yarn atmospherically titled Hotel de Luna. The moon hotel in question appears only to ghosts and houses only the undead, owned by a thousands year old cranky and greedy ghost spirit played by IU. Her character ends up working with the … Continue reading →
The Nam Joo Hyuk drama train keeps chugging along, the boy is both hardworking and audacious in the way he plows ahead despite stumbles and bad reviews. I’ve always had a soft spot for him since School 2015 and he’s really been meh in so many dramas since then other than Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and now The Light … Continue reading →
A good reputation is takes long to build up and can slip away easily as evidenced by the unending scandals in K-ent even in the mere decade I’ve been following along. I’m sure the intention behind the posters for OCN drama Kill It is that the two leads are adversarial and on a cat-and-mouse type game with guns drawn. But I’m totally getting the vibe instead that leads Jang Ki Yong and Nana are thisclose to making out with so much heavy tension between them. He’s the contract killer and she’s … Continue reading →

The drama is about a top … Continue reading →

I wasn’t quite sure what SBS upcoming Wed-Thurs drama Big Issue would be about but a tense action flick was far from mind. The previews make it look like a straight up thriller flick with intrigue, hiding, surveillance, and Han Ye Seul doing her best femme fatale impersonation. She pulls it off for sure while male lead Joo Jin Mo … Continue reading →
The undead are still roaming Joseon Korea at the end of the first season of Netflix K-drama Kingdom, and in fact are getting closer to a widespread attack. The short six-episodes was an appetizer masquerading as a full season, and the corrupt powers that tried to resurrect a dead king to use as a puppet inadvertently creating patient zero of … Continue reading →
If there was ever a designer version of a muumuu then this Valentino dress and jacket combo fits the bill. K-actress Park Shin Hye was head-to-toe in the brand’s outfit and accessory leaving Incheon airport for the fashion show and she looked like she could be wearing a plastic bag with the V logo on it. The over-sized jacket is … Continue reading →
