After working in two popular noona romances, Jung Hae In gets a younger leading lady next with Chae Soo Bin as the two are confirmed for tvN drama Half of a Half. That would be a quarter, LOL, but the punny title describes the romance between the male lead who is a successful head and programmer for an AI company … Continue reading →
The transformation of the SBS K-drama with the Korean title Fox Star Bride wasn’t complete yet despite the commencement of filming but now is with a final gift of a different English title. The casting carousel for upcoming SBS drama Fox Bride Star was one of the most convoluted in recent memory due to not just the offers being slung around but also the drama title change. MBC held its year end Drama Awards last night and the winner of the Daesang was surprisingly Park Sang Joong for Rebel: The Thief Who Stole the People. It’s a surprise because he wasn’t the male lead of that drama and didn’t have that much screen time for the entire run, but he’s such a critically acclaimed veteran giving it … Continue reading →
This week is the premiere of new MBC Wed-Thurs K-drama I am Not a Robot, which definitely is K-drama style rom-com as far as I can tell. Even better is that this one has elements of the kooky, unlike the last so-called rom-com I watched This Life is My First which had a few laugh out loud moments but overall … Continue reading →
Some weeks feel longer than others and same goes for the wait for upcoming K-dramas. MBC‘s next Wed-Thurs drama I am Not a Robot has been incubation for much longer than usual, four extra weeks to be precise after Hospital Ship ended but the network was still mired in a labor strike. Sadly today doesn’t end the drought as viewers … Continue reading →
The battle for robot control supremacy is on as the latest preview for MBC rom-com I am Not a Robot pits human-allergic Yoo Seung Ho against mad scientist Eom Ki Joon. That they are jostling to program Chae Soo Bin in different robot modes is even funnier considering she’s not even a robot to begin with. It’s a girl pretending … Continue reading →
If MBC‘s upcoming Wed-Thurs drama I am Not a Robot ends up not working, I may still stick around to gaze upon male lead Yoo Seung Ho in various snappy winter wear outfits. The drama finally has a premiere date of December 6th, three weeks after it should have aired after Hospital Ship other than that pesky network labor strike … Continue reading →

Thankfully the strike appears to be over now that the MBC network president everyone was protesting to remove has been fired by the board. … Continue reading →

The first teasers are out for MBC rom-com I am Not a Robot and everything about each of the character snapshots are so cute. Leads Yoo Seung Ho, Chae Soo Bin, and Eom Ki Joon look their parts and the serious transitioning to … Continue reading →
The first stills are out of the fated meeting between a rich guy with an allergy to other humans and the girl who will win his heart by pretending to be a robot. Upcoming K-drama I am Not a Robot is the stuff of shoujo manga synopsis pitches and funnily enough isn’t adapted from one. If it was then the … Continue reading →
