The first look at actress Chae Soo Bin in upcoming MBC drama I am Not a Robot is out and count me intrigued. She looks super doll-like in her styling and surprisingly believable as a girl pretending to be a robot. Her character crosses paths with Yoo Seung Ho‘s super wealthy and successful financial entrepreneur with a severe allergy to … Continue reading →
My excitement for Yoo Seung Ho‘s next drama was tempered slightly by news of his leading lady choice, but now it’s back up again seeing how cute the leads are together. The script reading for upcoming MBC drama I am Not a Robot was released this week though the drama has been filming already for a scheduled November 8th premiere … Continue reading →
An allergic to other humans man falls in love with a robot girl, or maybe not a robot based on the title I’m not sure, but this set up feels right up the alley of a shoujo manga from Japan. Japan did do the popular girl human and boy robot Zettai Kareshi which for a long time was bandied about … Continue reading →
I’m not going to look a gift drama gods casting in the mouth, and who knows it may actually all come together in the end. Yoo Seung Ho has confirmed his second drama of 2017 with the MBC romantic comedy I Am Not a Robot, a complete 180 change in genre from his last drama being sageuk Ruler: Master of … Continue reading →
I’m way more fascinated by the fashion, mostly lack thereof, parade at the VIP movie premiere for the thriller movie Fabricated City than I am in the actual movie. Starring Ji Chang Wook and Shim Eun Kyung, the movie is a cross between wrongfully accused of murder Defendant and Healer‘s computer hacking and chase thrills. The trailer looks sleek enough … Continue reading →
I’m a tad concerned for upcoming MBC Mon-Tues drama Rebel: The Thief Who Stole the People. The first trailer seems overwrought while the two leads feel green for their leading role debuts. Both Yoon Kyun Sang and Chae Boo Bin have been getting plenty of second lead roles in the last two years but it’s rather a big leap to … Continue reading →
Even without SBS drama Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim being a big ratings hit, MBC is still woefully bringing in negligible viewership for its Mon-Tues drama Night Light in the low single digits. There’s still another month to go before the arrival of a replacement quarterback in MBC’s stalwart genre the traditional sageuk. Formerly known as Rebel Hong Gil Dong or … Continue reading →
After a few rounds of casting maybes from Namgong Min to Ji Sung, the titular Traitor Hong Gil Dong (or Rebel Hong Gil Dong) has found Yoon Kyun Sang as the famed Korean Robin Hood. SBS loves Yoon Kyun Sang and was grooming him with supporting roles in successive high profile dramas for the network but MBC clearly swooped in and … Continue reading →
KBS premieres youth romance sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds this Monday evening, and those still on the fence can check on the ten minute long preview released at the press conference a few days ago to decide whether to watch or not. I’m a hundred percent planning to watch, with two leads I love who also can act in Park … Continue reading →
Now this is more like it, or at least more like what I was expecting from upcoming KBS Mon-Tues youth romance sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds. The third teaser is out and expands on the traditional stylings of the second teaser rather than the oddball dance crew modern weirdness of the first preview. Park Bo Gum is suitably princely – … Continue reading →
Hot on the heels of confirming the full cast of saguek Moonlight Drawn by Clouds comes the first look at said cast together. Woohoo for the visuals being as youthfully complementary as I envisioned, all cheekbones that can slice cheese and bright cheery smiles. Starring Park Bo Gum with Kim Yoo Jung, the supporting roles are rounded out by Jinyoung … Continue reading →
KBS has done well with casting upcoming youthful romance sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, despite a tiny blip in the middle. The leads for the manhwa to drama adaptation has finally been confirmed, with Park Bo Gum pairing up with Kim Yoo Jung as the leads while Jinyoung of B1A4 and Chae Soo Bin step into the role of the … Continue reading →
Young even feels like an understatement when looking at the fully assembled cast for upcoming romantic sageuk drama Moonlight Drawn by Clouds. When the average age of the four leads is 19 year old, there is something to be said for this drama hewing close to the original source manhwa where the characters are all late teens and early twenties. … Continue reading →
