Dang, is everyone and their mothers going to be in this drama? Normally when new main lead caliber names are added to a drama casting it means prior rumored leads have declined but for SBS drama Penthouse it’s turning into a circus car because four new names have just appeared and it’s in addition to and not lieu of. Shin Eun Kyung, Kim So Yeon, Oh Man Seok, and rising actor Kang Tae Oh who was second lead in The Tale of Nokdu are all moving into the Penthouse it seems. They would join already named leads Eugene, Shin Sung Rok, Lee Ji Ah, and Bong Tae Gyu. Other than promising Kang Tae Ah every other name in this list could and have headlined dramas of their own so this is a wild main cast. This is such fun casting weirdness and makes Penthouse interesting on that alone. Continue reading
