K-actress Lee Ji Ah is going from one type of first lady to another. She’s been offered the titular role in an upcoming tvN drama First Lady directed by the PD of One the Woman, which starred Honey Lee to great reception and won her tons of recognition. The drama is slated for 2023 but will have Lee Ji Ah playing two roles as it focuses on the First Lady position in South Korea. When I said Lee Ji Ah played a first lady already, it was as the richest and powerful wife in the pecking order of wives in the K-drama Penthouse so she was the first lady of that Penthouse if you will. She’s really got a career boost with Penthouse and I’m glad to see her continuing to take on strong female roles.
