Oh this is a great cameo and I wish both young leads from the first season would do the cameo together. Yoo Yeon Seok will be returning to the hospital with a cameo in the upcoming Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim 3, reprising his role from the first season. No word on Seo Hyun Jin but I just love when both … Continue reading →
There is absolutely nothing wrong or problematic about modern sports romance C-drama Nothing But You but then there was also nothing gripping and exciting about it. It felt very hygge is you asked me to ascribe a mood to it, warm and cozy. The drama had Zhou Yu Tong as the older competent career woman falling for college aged hot … Continue reading →
So it appears K-ent is not ready for Kim Sun Ho to come back in a romance sageuk after the change in casting earlier this year, but his already filmed gritty K-movie will be a good test of whether Chungmuro is the right next step. The movie was originally called Sad Tropics but will be titled The Childe in English … Continue reading →
Of all the K-dramas to adapt, I feel like C-ent is getting on the wrong side of doing trendy versus substantive. This week has confirmed the C-drama remake of sageuk youth drama Hwarang which was a disappointment in both production and ratings but does have the record of most good looking flower boy stars in one drama. C-netizens are not … Continue reading →
SBS has hit the bid and announced a third season of Taxi Driver (Model Taxi) on the heel of the ending of season 2 this Saturday. Breaking 20% on a prime time network drama is no small feat in this day and age and the structure of this drama with individual cases lends well to the season format. I’m so … Continue reading →
This is a fresh news dating news and the quick non-response makes the rumor even more exciting to ponder. Monday morning in Seoul came with the rumor that A-list movie star Kang Dong Won is dating his same agency hoobae Blackpink‘s Rose who is currently in LA having just performed at Coachella. After the news broke, YG Entertainment was asked … Continue reading →
Well this is one huge melon if I ever saw one, but in C-rumor land nothing is ever 100% untrue until the official announcement otherwise. C-ent this week has a rumor that Jackson Yee (Yi Yang Qian Xi) and Zhao Lu Si will be pairing up for a big budget C-drama League of Legends directed by award winning director Zhang … Continue reading →
For the European couture brands that have selected South Korea stars as brand spokespersons, most of the times it feels like the brands doesn’t really need the star to give it extra boost but for Fendi picking Song Hye Kyo I totally think its the other way around. She’s been a top actress for nearly twenty five years and still … Continue reading →
It’s a fantastic ending for SBS Fri-Sat drama Taxi Driver 2 (Model Taxi 2) which took a solid and decently rated first season and upped the success quotient for the second go-around. The final episode brought in 21% ratings which puts it on the highest rating for any prime time drama in 2023, a nice continuation of the recent successes … Continue reading →
So this is either great publicity drumming or a way to counterprogram. There were a lot of C-dramas finished in 2021 and 2022 that fans have been dying to watch and the released earlier this month of Till the End of the Moon was the oasis water for period fans parched desert thirst. But now comes rumors that Story of … Continue reading →

Ong Seung Woo is enlisting on April 17th and will be an active duty soldier, go get ’em youg whipper snapper! He shared a quick live stream this week showing off his freshly … Continue reading →
So the last three months I flew a lot to and from Asia and those long haul trans-Pacific flights were perfect for catching up on movies I’ve been waiting to watch because I’m too lazy to go to the theater. One movie that I have been meaning to watch as Alienoid Part 1 and it was the perfect plane movie, … Continue reading →
