From what unreal planet of adorableness doth these two come from? How did the earthling universe know to combine them together into one even more squeeworthy bundle of preciousness? Can I implant universal translators into their brain so they can communicate with each other henceforth and promptly fall in love and make dorky cute babies? The Park Shi Hoo rape investigation continues to take on an air of the absurd as the accused has filed suit against the alleged victim and a whole host of people have found themselves now an involved party in this mess. To counter the allegation that A made up the alleged rape and is looking to extort money from Park … Continue reading →
The best defense is a good offense? Park Shi Hoo’s new lawyer seems to subscribe to that philosophy because this morning it was revealed that Park Shi Hoo has filed a lawsuit at the Seoul Seobu (Western) Police station against his alleged rape victim A for blackmail, against A’s supposed best friend B for defamation, and against the director of … Continue reading →
The police investigation into the alleged Park Shi Hoo rape case has concluded its preliminary interview phase a full 2 weeks after the allegations were raised, finally interviewing Park Shi Hoo and K (24 year old actor Kim Hee Jun) on March 1st at the Seoul Seobu (Western) Police Station. On March 1 Park Shi Hoo showed up at the Seoul Seobu (Western) Police Station for his interview summons after police denied his latest lawyer’s request to transfer the case to the Gangnam Police Station. His lawyer stated that Park Shi Hoo is complying with the summons to get this matter resolved as quickly as possible since dragging it on … Continue reading →
I think its harder for female actresses to attain A-list stardom than it is for men. The glass ceiling in every industry exists in entertainment, and in K-ent its especially hard for women because they need to have a pure good girl image for the ahjummas to want as daughter-in-laws, but then also subtly exude sexual charisma for the men … Continue reading →
Looks like there is trouble brewing in the never-confirmed romance between Roy Qiu and C-actress Tang Yan, and its in the form of the very similar in style Tia Li. I’ve long accepted that Roy has a type and its totally not the type I like for him but I’m cool with my guys dating as they like. Roy has … Continue reading →
While I’ve posted recently about upcoming discharges such as Im Joo Hwan and Kim Jae Wook, not to mention Rain is making news for managing to get himself a girlfriend in popular actress Kim Tae Hee while he is still in the army (what can I say, guy’s got game), there are quite a few entertainers serving their duty in … Continue reading →
The Park Shi Hoo and K rape allegation investigation continues to develop in ways that are absolutely baffling. I’m really neutral towards Park Shi Hoo as an actor and entertainer prior to this scandal breaking, so my coverage of the developments is neither motivated by liking him or disliking him. I am, however, really perturbed by everything surrounding this unfolding … Continue reading →
There are considerable similarities in law enforcement and criminal investigation in most developed countries, though the common law versus civil law countries have their own unique divergences in criminal procedure. I don’t know Korean criminal law but the Park Shi Hoo and “K” sexual assault allegation investigation is taking a turn for the strange and not very transparent. Both Park … Continue reading →
It’s rather difficult not to have an opinion on the Park Shi Hoo rape allegation case by now. One can refrain from making a judgment on the available facts and speculation, but is hard not to have a preliminary opinion of what might have happened. In alleged rape cases, even when all the facts are sifted through and sometimes when … Continue reading →
There are new developments in the Park Shi Hoo rape allegations that add significantly more facts to the case. For those of you living under a rock the last few days, the biggest news in K-ent has been the allegations made by a 22 year old trainee known as “A” that she went drinking with Park Shi Hoo and was … Continue reading →
I’m just going to report on the news so far regarding this stunning allegation and not make any commentary, because heck if anyone out there is capable of making any statement about the veracity of the claims. Park Shi Hoo, fresh off a charismatic turn in Cheongdamdong Alice, has just been accused of rape by a 22 year old trainee … Continue reading →
