The bad news is that all those buckets of tears Fahrenheit fangirls cried a few months ago when news broke that Wu Zun was leaving the group looks to be for naught. The good news is that Wu Zun is not leaving Fahrenheit and the group continues its activities. I think the tears would rather be pointlessly sacrificed in this … Continue reading →
Park Shin Hye has been a very busy actress, working non-stop from project to endorsement to project. Her wrapped TW-drama Hayate the Combat Butler will air in the Summer on GTV, and she’s currently in preparation for her upcoming June K-drama Festival, which will reunite her with her You’re Beautiful co-star Jung Yong Hwa. Park Shin Hye transforms into sophisticated mature … Continue reading →
Lee Chun Hee married his Smile, You co-star Jeon Hye Jin last week in a blissfully happy wedding attended by family, friends, and plenty of K-stars. In conjunction with their wedding, both posed for a series of couples shots for Cosmopolitan Korea magazine that are breathtaking in showing how much they adore each other. I can actually feel the love … Continue reading →
March is almost over, April is around the corner, and May will be here in a blink of an eye. A ton of new dramas are premiering in May (City Hunter, The Greatest Love, Maids, Pretty Young Woman, et. al.) and all of them have announced casts, are in production, and some have actually started filming. Except for Sweet Scandal, … Continue reading →
Me likey! The production of the long-discussed sequel to 2008’s box office success C-movie Painted Skin finally announced that it’s gotten the green light in terms of script and has also confirmed that its three main stars are signed on for another go around in the love carousel. While Chen Kun and Zhou Xun have always indicated their willing participation, … Continue reading →
Recently Mike He, who just wrapped the drama Mei Le, Go co-starring Cyndi Wang, was asked about the steamy wedding night kissing scene he filmed with Janine Chang in Sunny Happiness. Apparently audience spotted tongue, and he claims that he has developed the ability to make it seem like he’s french kissing his co-star but he actually isn’t. Um, yeah, you … Continue reading →
Jung Joon Ho got married yesterday to Lee Ha Jung (congrats and felicitations on a life long happy marriage!), but the only thing going through my mind was the sudden and totally unexpected attendance at the wedding of a certain dude currently in military service. No, it’s not Hyun Bin, but the man who was shipped off DURING the filming of … Continue reading →
Yoo Ah In (one of my favorite young actors) in London (one of my favorite cities) = a match made in Koala heaven. I would give my right kidney to hang out with Yoo Ah In in London and go pub crawling and get drunk and mock the Beefeaters at the Tower. Having a chance to stare at his adorable visage … Continue reading →
So Ridiculously Cute! I think I about laughed myself to death with this first preview of Drunken to Love You. It looks beyond stupid, yet I’m charmed by its earnestly good-natured spirit. Rainie Yang looks to continue her wow-the-Koala-campaign and is just thumbing her nose at me for not liking her until recently. And Joseph Chang, who is not conventionally … Continue reading →
I’m confused, when did Ming Dao suddenly become producer-writer Yu Zheng (the man behind this Season’s ratings hit time-travel historical drama Jade Palace Lock Heart) best friend and go-to main lead? First news broke that JPLH is going to have a movie sequel, which somehow wouldn’t focus on the drama OTP but instead have Ming Dao playing the lead general. … Continue reading →
Moon Geun Young is busy with school and not currently involved in any acting projects, so as a fan it’s always a treat to see her in any media product. For April’s W Korea magazine, Moon Geun Young models the designer threads for the F/X Spring/Summer collection. The concept was to showcase a young lady pulling out her mom’s old … Continue reading →
It looks like 49 Days might take the crown from City Hall as the drama which takes the longest time to get going. And if 49 Days takes off like City Hall did, then I forgive all the earlier mishaps, oh yes I will. Four episodes into 49 Days, and I’m only starting to get curious about the story and finding … Continue reading →
News reports announced today that Yoon Kye Sang (Who Am I?) and Yoo In Na (Secret Garden) have been tapped as the second leads for the upcoming Hong Sisters drama The Discovery of Affection, which supposedly also has its name changed to Best Love. The Hong Sisters really are skewing older and more sophisticated for their latest drama, which … Continue reading →
