Writing this articles make me feel old, sad, happy, and nostalgic, so basically all those emotions that remind us that life is full of memories and still we must look ahead. This weekend HK-ent covered the funeral of actor Felix Wong‘s wife former actress Leung Kit Wah, passing away at 59 year old after a 7 year battle with acute … Continue reading →
Ever since I laid eyes on this boy ten years ago I knew he was destined to go places. He was the younger versions of male leads in Giant and Will it Snow for Christmas and his sections were in ways even more interesting that the ensuing story. He does the set up, so much angst and hope and dreams … Continue reading →

The couple that dresses in cool kids couple wear while on a covert date stays together, lol. It’s not the best week in J-ent to announce a marriage but eh any time is good for one’s own happiness. J-actor Ikuta Toma is done with bachelorhood as the long time popular and critically acclaimed star announced that he and long time … Continue reading →
I’ll say that if upcoming SBS Fri-Sat drama Backstreet Rookie is at least good then it’s already a winner. The expectations are low and this is a low budget drama anyways, at least compared to its time slot predecessor world building fantasy quest The King: Eternal Monarch. BR is a webtoon adaptation, and a crappy original source material if you … Continue reading →

It’s weird how time tempers disappointment. I’ll likely remember The King: Eternal Monarch fondly now that it’s over, the earlier episodes were just so inexplicably terrible and made for drastic expectation rewritting but as the episodes went on I settled into a nice rhythm with it. Each week I hoped it would make better sense and it never did but … Continue reading →
Dang, another cheating trash exposed but goodness it just makes me nauseous to read the details. The press conference for tvN drama It’s Okay to Not be Okay seemed to arrive super early, seeing as the drama doesn’t premiere for another week on June 20th. Or perhaps I’m used to the last minute scramble and do appreciate how on top of things this production seems to be. The cast got the black and white dress code … Continue reading →
Well, another surprise not quite surprise marriage and baby announcement. In 2020 you would think celebs would be fine just living openly as fans have long since moved past caring about their perceived “single and eligible” status. This week TW-actor Ming Dao revealed that he was married and now the father to a newborn baby son. Congrats dude, but what’s … Continue reading →
I’ve been rewatching the best bits of both Lee Min Go and Kim Go Eun‘s last dramas, to remind myself of what could have been better and actually elicited emotion from me. I didn’t much care for the OTP in either drama but in Legend of the Blue Sea I really needed to see Lee Min Ho’s character find his … Continue reading →
Awwww, I loved this couple! At least as much as I could from afar as simply a fan and wishing for happy endings. K-actor Yoon Kye Sang and actress Honey Lee have broken up, confirmed by their agencies today after weathering earlier rumors of breakups which were denied. They have been dating for 7 years and it’s always low key, … Continue reading →
