Wow, if this casting goes through it would be a win for the actress and a win for the production. Seo Ye Ji is in talks as the female lead of upcoming tvN drama I’m a Psycho But It’s Okay, which has a weird title but all the attention is on the drama likely being Kim Soo Hyun‘s first drama … Continue reading →
If you have four leads, two men and two women, and it’s a glossy high profile drama, it probably would be best to avoid in any way shape or form other high profile drama work product. But this one is funny because the two dramas are from the same screenwriter lol. Writer Park Ji Eun‘s next drama Crash Landing on … Continue reading →
The first new drama to arrive in 2020 sounds like it will be The Game: Towards Zero, or towards hopefully a good year for K-drama ratings. The drama is scheduled to air in January 2020 on MBC Wed-Thurs and stars Taecyeon in his acting comeback after two years in the military. He plays a prophet who can look into people’s … Continue reading →
I hope tvN is not counting its chicks before it hatches but this type of publicity likely indicates a close to final signing. tvN recently went before advertisers to promote it’s 2020 lineup of shows and for K-dramas the three faces it trotted out were Kim Soo Hyun, Jang Nara, and Jung Hae In. Of the three, only Jung Hae … Continue reading →
It was a great weekend for Kim Woo Bin fans as the actor officially made his entertainment career return in a solo activity by holding a fanmeeting. Three weeks ago he was at the Blue Dragon Awards presenting and looking just as handsome and charismatic as before his two year hiatus for cancer treatment. This weekend’s fanmeeting allowed his fans … Continue reading →
The Hong Sisters are back thanks to the success of summer 2019 supernatural K-drama Hotel Del Luna. I think they are about 50/50 on hits and misses and based on their track record the next drama is likely a miss. I hope they break free of that bad luck as their next drama is already in the works. It’s scheduled … Continue reading →
I’m not surprised high profile K-drama Crash Landing on You will have big name cameos considering the cast and production team. The first announced cameo guest appearance is K-actor Ha Suk Jin who will be playing male lead Hyun Bin‘s older brother. He doesn’t look older than Binnie and based on the context my guess is the Binnie will have … Continue reading →
These two seem to genuinely be good friends so it’s pretty cool to watch two big stars open up for fans. Lee Dong Wook‘s new talk show booked his Goblin costar and close buddy Gong Yoo, a huge coup since Gong Yoo never does this. Other than the eye candy of seeing them onscreen in the same frame again, complete … Continue reading →
The K-drama Angel’s Last Mission: Love has accomplished the love part of its goal in real life. Supporting actress Kim Bomi has confirmed that she’s getting married in April 2020 to her ballet dancer boyfriend after the couple met and fell in love during filming for the drama. She’s herself a ballet dancer with many years of dancing and majoring … Continue reading →
Life is hard enough and honestly marriage doesn’t make it easier or harder just another element to balance in life with risks and rewards. I’d vote for getting hitched if the right partner came along but it will forever be a work in progress. The last few weeks have been majorly rough in entertainment news so a bit of measured … Continue reading →
I feel like K-drama producers think that it’s been too long since a weird pairing and throw one out there to remind us. We have Joo Sang Wook and Kim Bora together in an upcoming drama, and now Kim Ha Neul and Lee Do Hyun are in talks for an early 2020 romance drama airing on jTBC called 18 Again. … Continue reading →
Man, I feel like the last shoe hasn’t dropped yet but now there’s too much dirt to feel like digging any deeper benefits anyone. The arrested producers of hit music selection show Produce 101 which has now aired 4 seasons have admitted a much broader vote rigging than initially revealed. Turns out 1 member of season 2 which created Wanna … Continue reading →
It’s been a quiet nearly two years on the dating front for confirmed acting couple Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon. He went off to his military service after they confirmed their relationship so there wasn’t much for the public to get updated on. But recently they were out together and at a high profile event so of course … Continue reading →
