The weird and creepy vibe is on full display in the latest set of drama stills and 3rd teaser for KBS drama Lovely Horribly. If done right in the script and directing, this drama has a shot to be worth watching with a fresh narrative even if leads Park Shi Hoo and Song Ji Hyo may not be everyone’s cup … Continue reading →
The long wait is over the return of one of my fave K-actresses so imma hoping 2018 brings back the other as well, if not in a project that airs this year then at least news that she’s picked her next role. Moon Geun Young has been in recovery mode for the past year every since her health scare in … Continue reading →
The official posters and trailer are out for upcoming thriller K-movie The Negotiation, notable for top actor Hyun Bin taking on the lead role which also happens to be the antagonist. It’s the first time he’s playing a legit baddie and his female lead Son Ye Jin isn’t a romantic interest but the hero out to take Binnie down. The … Continue reading →
It’s been 10 years since K-actor Song Joong Ki debuted and I can’t think of anything he could have done differently to achieve greater success than what he actually accomplished. It was both slow and steady without working nonstop, yet he reached the pinnacle of Hallyu fame and critical acclaim in a pretty short period of time. His agency Blossom … Continue reading →
For the past few weeks there have been non-stop rumors that C-actress Zhao Li Ying is pregnant. It’s a pretty ridiculous and far fetched rumor to spread but strangely this one has legs and this week the pregnant murmurings added an additional layer of getting married which is when I decide to at least post about it. According to the … Continue reading →

The lovely Kim Yoo Jung dropped a new pictorial for sportswear brand Fila last week, a familiar face for the campaign for the past few seasons and reassuring to see back in action. C-ent has been abuzz for the last month over a brewing tax situation that has allegedly embroiled many of the top stars. The Chinese authorities are reportedly investigating the highest earning stars with Fan Bing Bing‘s named bandied about the most, for tax evasion stemming likely from not reporting all their earned income whether from film wages, CFs, or investments. … Continue reading →
I continue to appreciate the graphic design efforts that are coming out of KBS drama Lovely Horribly. It takes a talented eye to design drama posters for a cross genre work like a horror plus romance and make it feel both creepy and slightly gothic romance. I loved the OTP posters and now the individual character posters are out and … Continue reading →
I know this post is a month late but I’m a month late to see this airport pictures of my baby boy Lee Seung Gi jetting out of Incheon Airport. He looks like an adorable hot mess but perfect for his personality and for the jaunt on the plane. I’m also way over the glamorous look of Oh Gong in … Continue reading →
HK-ent is mourning the August 5th passing of 32 year old singer Ellen Joyce Loo. She jumped from a building in Happy Valley in Hong Kong after a very public battle with bipolar disorder and depression. She leaves behind her wife after coming out as lesbian a few years ago, despite all her record sales successes and award accolades Ellen … Continue reading →
The height differential between movie costars Kim Young Kwang and Park Bo Young still makes my eyes smile when I see them. The two are headlining the summer rom-com flick On Your Wedding Day which looks standard cute growing pains in love fare and the only unique element is finding the tallest male actor in K-ent second to Kwang Soo … Continue reading →
