Wang Zi Qi and Lu Yu Xiao’s New Drama Serendipity Off to Okay Start But Gets More Buzz From Hilarious Blooper Left in Scene

A Koala's Playground Posted on by

So I tried watching Serendipity and made it all the way through episode 6 and feel no urge to continue. It’s just such a bland drama, with a low budget seen onscreen and leads Wang Zi Qi and Lu Yu Xiao not delivering at all. He looks terrible in this particular hairstyle and costume (way better in modern dramas) and … Continue reading →

A Koala's Playground Posted on by

The first preview is out for the period romance C-drama How Are You? and Cheng He Ti Tong 成何体统! is the Chinese title and translated literally means How Dare You! Tencent Premieres Amnesiac Love and Political Intrigue Period C-drama Serendipity with Wang Zi Qi and Lu Yu Xiao

A Koala's Playground Posted on by

This isn’t quite a sudden airdrop but does feel out of left field that Tencent decided to go more low key to end April by premiering period C-drama Serendipity (榜上佳婿 Bang Shang Jia Shu or Top Scholar Ideal Husband) today instead of another more high profile pick. I’m stoked this is here personally, love both leads and with low expectations … Continue reading →

Disney+ Officially Pauses Filming for K-drama Knock Off Indefinitely in the Wake of Male Lead Kim Soo Hyun’s Scandal for Allegedly Dating Underage Kim Sae Ron

A Koala's Playground Posted on by

The quagmire of reveals and counter-reveals and even completely irrelevant reveals in the Kim Soo Hyun scandal for allegedly dating then underage K-actress Kim Sae Ron when she was underage at 15 years old until she was 21 has made it rather moot to cover the latest details. Until now, when it’s been confirmed that Disney+ has officially paused the … Continue reading →
