Whether or not Park Shin Hye‘s cameo in SBS drama Temperature of Love moves the dropped ratings back up again is beside the point for me, I’m just relieved to have a positive and non-frustrating reason to keep watching the drama. At this point it’s not quite hate-watch yet, that would require more emotional attachment and even the characters I … Continue reading →
Whenever I see the title for upcoming MBC Mon-Tues drama Two Cops I think it’s either a buddy movie or both leads are cops and they are going to partner to solve crime and then fall in love. The premise is actually Jo Jung Seok as both cops, he plays a detective who gets his body possessed by the soul … Continue reading →
One week I’m teasing K-actress Kim Yoo Jung about sartorial fails at Seoul Fashion Week and the next its time to write about her next project at her day job. It’s been over a year since her last drama which happened to be mega hit sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, and earlier this year she dodged a bullet by turning … Continue reading →
There’s so much bad news, or at least it feels that way, so I appreciate low key sincere life living from a celebrity who could be as ostentatious as he wants. Top Hallyu actor Kim Soo Hyun enlisted for his mandatory military service today, with no publicity as his agency stated beforehand. He posted an SNS update to his fans … Continue reading →
It’s a drastic visual switch for me to go from watching actress Suzy with the short hair in While You Were Sleeping to idol Suzy in her full performing regala at this weekend’s Grand Mint Festival 2017. Her idol group Miss A is basically disbanded with one member leaving and the group not having any official activity for two years, … Continue reading →
There’s a really unfortunate and sad all-around news to share coming out of Korea involving Super Junior star Choi Siwon and his family. Earlier in October Choi Siwon’s beloved family French Bulldog Bugsy was off leash in the family apartment complex and ran into an elevator, biting a neighbor who lived in the same complex on her leg. The neighbor … Continue reading →
I can’t fault K-ent for the constant coverage of engaged top stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, it’s always fun to swoon overs happy ending star romances and conjure up some wedding excitement. Their wedding slated for the end of October is the biggest Korean celebrity wedding of 2017 in a year chock full of K-star weddings already, … Continue reading →
I’m always leery of my faves getting an Esquire spread because I have to gear for the possible the faux edgy that veers on the sleazy stylings. Unfortunately my concern is merited for the November Esquire Korea pictorial with Lee Jong Seok that looks like early 90’s Calvin Klein crossed with American Apparel sensibilities. Even worse is that his entire … Continue reading →
The level of star power at the 2018 Fall Seoul Fashion Week shows really hammered home the strata of star power. While the A-listers have been hitting up overseas couture shows in Paris, Milan, and New York, this week the home show in Seoul saw a less glittering but recognizable enough gathering of stars in attendance. Kim Yoo Jung as … Continue reading →
Suits are one clothing style that I steadfastly believe classic is the best, any person looks good in a classic style suit that is well tailored and sized. Anything deviating from the well tailored classic single breasted suit needs to be evaluated on a per outfit basis, as even a double breasted suit can run afoul if one doesn’t have … Continue reading →
My excitement for Yoo Seung Ho‘s next drama was tempered slightly by news of his leading lady choice, but now it’s back up again seeing how cute the leads are together. The script reading for upcoming MBC drama I am Not a Robot was released this week though the drama has been filming already for a scheduled November 8th premiere … Continue reading →
I needed this LOL moment especially when I think it’s going to be net positive for the star in questions. Singer and variety star Hwangbo made an appearance at Seoul Fashion Week in two different outfits that was sure to generate reaction and garner attention. The first is the hot mess outfit above that combines smiley face leopard print suit … Continue reading →
Normally when a male Korean star heads into military service it’s with the expectation that the army will whip them into shape and emerge manlier than before. That’s why it’s pretty funny and cute that idol-actor Taecyeon enlisted in the army last month and appeared to have turned back into a young boy. He’s shrunk in terms of overall size … Continue reading →
