Aish, I can’t lie. Two teasers into Missing You and I just don’t like what I see. The story feels so stale and soggy already, even the two sterling young leads Yeo Jin Gu and Kim So Hyun can’t sell me their everlasting love that started at the age of fifteen and appears to have been truncated due to the … Continue reading →
The preview for episode 14 of Nice Guy is destroying me. I seriously felt my knees buckle watching it. Holy drama gods this drama hurts so good. The pain in Eun Gi’s eyes as she stands disbelieving of her life filled with no current memories. The way Maru cradles her, hugs her, does everything in his power and with his utmost patience … Continue reading →
I love how Nice Guy continues to adjust my expectations and fiddle with my feelings. When the drama first started, I found Maru and Jae Hee fascinating while Eun Gi felt like an awkward third wheel shoehorned into the proceedings. As the drama progressed, I grew fascinated with Eun Gi while my disgust with both Maru and Jae Hee grew, … Continue reading →
Watching episode 13 of Nice Guy was such a draining process. Seeing how much Maru loves Eun Gi makes me weep, and seeing how Eun Gi is toggling between regaining painful memories and her current helplessness makes me unsure what I would prefer. Would it be best for her to start over now and never try to regain her memories? … Continue reading →
It’s safe to say that pretty much everything Han Hyo Joo touches turns to gold for her. She burst onto the scene at a young age landing the coveted leading lady role in Seasons drama PD Yoon Seok Ho‘s Spring Waltz, which was gorgeous to look at but the story was terrible and poor Han Hyo Joo dressed like the … Continue reading →
Despite the general hue and cry over Choi Kang Hee potentially being cast opposite a ten-year younger Joo Won in Secret Lovers (The Secret Agent Wars), she has in fact been confirmed now for the role. She’s been a rather harmless actress for me up until she did Protect the Boss, where I found her performance effortlessly winning. I loved … Continue reading →
Looks like I’m not the only one going bonkers waiting for episode 14 of Miss Rose to drop since the preview showing an imminent and long overdue kiss between the OTP. Episode 13 recap will be late this week since I’ve got other more pressing real life obligations, but hopefully this will satiate all the MR fans who has faith … Continue reading →
With eight more episodes to go, I just have to remind Nice Guy to stay awesome and don’t go cray cray on me. Not that I have any indication it will, but I’ve been burned so many times I just want to say an extra prayer that Lee Kyung Hee has indeed mapped out her entire story and is merely … Continue reading →
I really shouldn’t have a problem with the popular pairing of Annie Chen and Chris Wang splitting up onscreen to pair with new actors in their respective upcoming TW-dramas. With that said, its impossible not to watch the trailer for Annie and George Hu‘s Love, Now followed by Chris and Tiffany Hsu‘s Love Before, and not feel like Ke Wei … Continue reading →
When Jae Hee got out of the military two years ago, he was one of the few actors to not take on an acting gig straightaway, and in fact it was over a year later than he chose to return to acting through the cable drama Color of Woman. Folks were wondering why he was so quiet and out-of-the-limelight, and … Continue reading →
Oh holy mother of a hot potato – Joe Cheng went into the military a pretty boy and took a break from securing the maritime borders of the island of Formosa to attend a movie premiere and show us all that he’s a man’s man now. This weekend during Joe’s scheduled weekend off from military service, he drove down to … Continue reading →
I’m so obsessed with Nice Guy its not even funny. Since I started blogging there hasn’t been a single melodrama or even thriller that captivated me like this. I usually fall for rom-coms for whatever reason, but if I look back at my top-10 list and the like, it’s actually the darker denser dramas that I end up loving the … Continue reading →
The cast of Wolfboy traveled from Busan, where they attended the film festival there last weekend, back to Seoul just in time to hold a star-studded movie premiere in the city. Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Young were in attendance, as were many of their famous entertainer friends. With a hit drama in Nice Guy plus releasing a well-received … Continue reading →
