I feel like all that needs to be dissected about Memories of Alhambra is over and done with, the flaws and strengths remain at what it is and it’s just riding the train for the final four episodes to see how the writer resolves everything. I’ve never seen a drama where one lead has had to hard carry the entire … Continue reading →
I still remember the whiplash that was Lee Jun Ki and Park Min Young working together on variety show My Ear’s Candy from two years ago. From the fans excited with their wonderful voice chemistry from the show to the anger when it was revealed that Lee Jun Ki was dating fellow Namoo Actors colleague Jeon Hye Bin in real … Continue reading →
It’s been a busy day for casting drama casting new and now there’s a big movie offer to stir up excitement. K-actress Kim Tae Ri is following up her huge 2018 starring in the highest rated cable K-drama of the year Mr. Sunshine with a movie back to her movie roots. She got her start in the high profile arthouse … Continue reading →
This week’s episodes 11-12 of Encounter (Boyfriend) felt like a slow leisurely walk much like the one Jin Hyuk and Soo Hyun went on when he gave her the couple rings. These two are very mellow people and their romance feels like an old marriage couple acting like two fresh-faced kids. It’s not a diss because I adore their sincerity … Continue reading →
I feel like the ending in Goblin, the third go-around for the second leads Yoo In Na and Lee Dong Wook, can function as the set up for these two to reunite in upcoming tvN romance Touch Your Heart. It’s basically taking their actress and uptight cop character and changing him into an uptight lawyer now lol. The posters, new … Continue reading →
As one of the K-ent’s fast rising young leading men, Ahn Hyo Seob made one smart choice last year by dropping the meh Clean With Passion for Now and taking on the second male lead delightfully loveable role in Thirty But Seventeen. Now he’s up for the leading man role opposite Park Bo Young in the upcoming physical looks switching … Continue reading →
What was a double good news just one day ago is now a home run if both in discussion leads accept. K-actress Ha Ji Won has been offered the female lead in jTBC healing romance drama Chocolate and I seriously could not be happier. She’s considering the offer and her schedule is open after dropping out of now DOA action … Continue reading →
Well this is an interesting news story to wake up to. K-ent is reporting that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are dating after a netizen posted online about seeing the two at a golf course in Los Angeles. The sighting was the two walking at the country club and then having a meal with Son Ye Jin’s parents, with … Continue reading →
It’s a new year and for the first time in two years K-actress Moon Geun Young will be back on the small screen. She’s participating in variety program The Secret and Private Lives of Animals which was filmed late last year and looks to involve adorable penguins. I’m thrilled to see her returning to the entertainment world albeit in a … Continue reading →
Yayyyyy, it’s a double good news release day with the return of a K-drama screenwriter I love paired with a male lead that I also love. Yoon Kye Sang has been offered the male lead for writer Lee Kyung Hee‘s next drama titled Chocolate. Lee Kyung Hee has great dramas such as Thank You, Nice Guy, I’m Sorry I Love You, … Continue reading →
The 2019 MBC Drama Awards were decidedly lackluster other than So Ji Sub winning the Daesang for Terius Behind Me, which felt like a career award rather than just for that one drama. The highlight for me was seeing Ha Ji Won a surprise presenter giving out the grand prize Daesang, dressed in va-va-va-voom strapless shoulder baring red mermaid gown, … Continue reading →
K-actor Lee Jong Seok has stated in an interview that Lee Na Young is his ideal costar and that dream to act with her is coming true with their upcoming tvN drama Romance is a Bonus Book (Romance Supplement). I didn’t think they would look good together and yet all the promos show them with a couple face, i.e. they … Continue reading →
I’ve followed Hyun Bin’s career for so long that I’m able to spot a pattern and his latest drama Memories of Alhambra continues the trend. Binnie hits rating success when he plays anti-heroes/unlikable jerky male leads. Take his career breakthrough Jin Heon in My Name is Kim Sam Soon, followed by Secret Garden‘s Kim Joo Won, and now Jin Woo … Continue reading →
