Taiwanese singer-actress Amber An is prepping for her comeback music album, the fourth of her career which has really taken a big leap forward in the last two years. Her last three dramas You Are the Apple of My Eye, To the Dearest Intruder, and A Good Day all garnered good reviews and elevated her presence as leading lady with … Continue reading →
One of the hurdles to get over in in Park Hae Jin‘s last drama Cheese in the Trap was his decade older suitability to play a college student character. Yes, he did essay the feel and visuals of male lead Yoo Jung, but honestly he would have been Yoo Jung ten years out of college than being smack in it. … Continue reading →
Dusty remote out skirts of Los Angeles roadside motels don’t exactly conjure up the requisite postcard settings for a photo shoot, but then again Heirs managed to send leads Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho to one and make it an early bonding moment for the drama. Sending Park Shin Hye’s latest costar Kim Rae Won there after wrapping … Continue reading →
The reunification of my cuties Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Seok feels like a glass half something situation. On one hand they are going to be in the same drama and also back on television, but on the other hand they are merely making a cameo in said drama and not even in the same scene. Yay to the … Continue reading →
I gotta give polling site Moolmong credit for even coming up with this particular poll topic, but then again it’s probably run out of more mainstream subjects to inquire about. Korean ladies were polled on which K-star elicited their most motherly instincts, which seems anathema that viewers would want to mother the hotties in question rather than dream of them … Continue reading →
Casting Jeon Ji Hyun as the spoiled top star in You From Another Star turned out to be a match made in casting heaven, and even seemed that way from the outset when it was announced. Her turn as the centuries old last mermaid on earth in upcoming SBS drama Legend of the Blue Sea is way more of a … Continue reading →
The supreme cuteness that is sageuk drama Moonlight Drawn by Clouds reversed the ratings bottom trend for KBS on Mon-Tues and delivered a much needed buzz for the viewing audience. I like dramas to get viewers hooked and excited, the more the merrier for the industry that’s seen overall ratings pie shrinkage in successive years. The leads of Moonlight held … Continue reading →
It’s goodbye adorable young love sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, which ended this week, and hello cohabitation rom-com The Man Living in Our House, which takes over the Mon-Tues time slot on KBS. Starring Su Ae as a bumpy in love flight attendant returning to her deceased mom’s house, Kim Young Kwang is her leading man as the young guy … Continue reading →
The arrival of Gong Yoo as the titular Goblin in the upcoming tvN drama continues to be an ad for bucolic fall fashion circa the countryside. New stills are out showing Gong Yoo wandering around the countryside some more in the same vein as the first set of stills, and this time he looks even more perplexed and concerned. I … Continue reading →
Taiwan star Puff Guo is usually so fashionably dressed in a way that suits her style impeccably it’s even more odd to see her at this weekend’s fashion event looking so out of her element. She’s been filming C-drama Shuttle Love Millennium for the last month or so, the second installment of the Chinese version based on the Queen In … Continue reading →
Hit KBS drama Moonlight Drawn By Clouds wrapped up this Tuesday with the final episode 18, netting over 22% ratings for it’s fond farewell as fans bid adieu to cutie pies Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung. They really are supremely adorable in and out of character for this drama, a pairing perfectly sourced by casting agents and delivered … Continue reading →
It’s here! After months of anticipation since the casting was announced, the first teaser has arrived for Legend of the Blue Sea pairing up Hallyu superstars Lee Min Ho and Jeon Ji Hyun. The first teaser is a veritable cornucopia of colors and quick cuts to whet the appetite. There are plenty of glimpses of Jeon Ji Hyun as the titular … Continue reading →
I never woulda paired these two up but go ahead and surprise me SBS! Currently airing Mon-Tues drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart: Ryeo has turned out to be a ratings dud for the network even if the few ardent fans still watching appear to enjoy it immensely. Up next for SBS is the Han Seok Kyu, Seo Hyun Jin, and … Continue reading →
