Starring Lee Min Ho, Wallace Chung, and Tang Yan, the movie is directed by a Korean movie director based on a Chinese script, following a team of swashbuckling bounty hunters on the heels of an international crime syndicate. The first trailer looked entertaining enough but I’m … Continue reading →

As top Korean drama screenwriter Kim Eun Sook preps for her next drama airing at the end of 2016, having lined up leading man Gong Yoo (squeeee!), it’s a good time as any to do a catalog of all the K-actors she’s made famous or made even more famous after doing one of her dramas. It’s ironic that age appropriate casting news for an upcoming K-drama would come out at the same time that the K-media is taking note of all the recent age inexplicable drama pairings, as well as another drama casting the same week where a nearly thirty year old is playing a high school student opposite a real life high school aged … Continue reading →

There is and will be no shortage of Song Joong Ki pictorials for the foreseeable future, but too much of a good thing can overwhelm the senses so I’m going to be selective about the things I post with him. It’ll be nice when he does a drama or starts filming his movie since substantive acting posts are way more fun … Continue reading →
It’s a regular occurrence in K-dramas to have big age gaps between the leads, not so often as to be the majority but plenty often to merit an eyebrow raise from time to time. Such is the time again as K-ent points out a slew of recent dramas with big lead age gap – Ji Sung and Hyeri in Entertainer … Continue reading →
It wouldn’t be a fun start to May without a good juicy entertainment to liven things up. It’s been quite a few weeks since the last big K-ent dating news that was Blood costars Gu Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun, who ended up planning a wedding in short order after news broke. This one may or may not see … Continue reading →

SBS has confirmed its lineup through summer 2016 with the reveal of police procedural drama Advance to follow Doctors. Coincidentally, Advance is from the screenwriter of Punch which starred Kim Rae Won, and gave his career a real critical acclaim boost, and now the … Continue reading →
K-ent puppy Lee Seung Gi hasn’t been enlisted for all that long, three months to be exact as he shipped off to the army on February 1st, 2016, but this is one service that seems to be crawling by. Most of my faves go and come back in the blink of an eye, from Lee Jun Ki to Yoo Seung … Continue reading →
