I excepted more pretty with the posters for SBS drama Remember, but one out of three ain’t bad and these days I’m grateful for the little bits of delivered quality. The official drama posters are out for Remember, and it might have been better if the network just released the one on top featuring leads Yoo Seung Ho and Park … Continue reading →
Clearly the feels were just laying dormant because all it took was one event attended together for everything to come whooshing back, even if it’s now a good decade later. Beijing was the stage for the Crossover Fashion Awards celebrating star trend leaders in high fashion, and the shining duo of the night was none other than former drama OTP and A-list … Continue reading →
I believe in this latest casting rumor but am I’m not sure if it’ll actually happen on timing alone. New mommy Lee Bo Young is reportedly being courted for the leading lady role in a new 2016 SBS drama by the PD Boo Sung Chul of this year’s doppleganger makjang drama Mask. He’s a dedicated SBS veteran who directed tons … Continue reading →
The next KBS Mon-Tues drama Moorim School has been filming for some time now so it’s no surprise that the first batch of promos look very sleek and put together. The drama takes over for Oh My Venus and starts the second week of January 2016, turning the dial from weight loss romance to martial arts high school students from … Continue reading →
I fee like an overprotective momma Koala when it comes to Yoo Seung Ho, not concerning his love life but totally centered on his acting career. I get particularity nitpicking about his female leads, but so far his return to acting on the big projects like sageuk movie The Joseon Magician with Go Ara and upcoming SBS drama Remember with … Continue reading →
I may love Korean dramas on average just a smidge more than the other dramas from China, Taiwan, or Japan, but I love equally checking on the entertainment news and fashion updates from all four regions. In terms of taking risks and being creative, Mainland China has so much diversity to work with, and is really making huge strides in … Continue reading →
I’m having a hard time succinctly verbalizing what I love so much about TW-drama Marry Me or Not. Even if it didn’t star my beloved Roy Qiu and Alice Ke reunion coupling, the narrative storytelling is top notch on its own. What Roy and Alice bring is incomparable sizzle and delicate nuance, so one moment I think the screen is … Continue reading →
Korean music idols are a dime a dozen and it take the exception from the normal cross-over into acting for me to take notice. I’ve broken from the trend here because the Taiwanese media, and to the same extent the Korean media, is all over this brand new idol girl who is just north of 16 years old. New Korean … Continue reading →
I’ve a professional career, and have taken more than one hiatus from the career track for various reasons, but none more than two years tops. Which is why I’m immensely curious how K-actress Lee Young Ae plans to comeback with her first leading lady role in upcoming SBS drama Saimdang: The Herstory, what with a 10 year break from acting. … Continue reading →
Va-va-va-voom doesn’t even come close to describing this recent Arena Homme pictorial featuring Shin Mina. It’s sultry and sexy with intentional visual second look inducement by having Shin Mina look nude via skin colored leotards. I’m not a fan of such overtly sexy staging but I think Arena is an edgy enough magazine that it pulls it off. It’s stuff … Continue reading →
There hasn’t a single misstep so far with rom-com C-movie Go Lala Go 2, a movie sequel that totally eclipses the hype of the original thanks to the addition of three of Taiwan’s top acting talent. Ariel Lin takes over the role of office girl Lala, with Vic Zhou as her stalwart photographer boyfriend and Bolin Chen as the sexy … Continue reading →
I’m loving the expressive and colorful promos for upcoming tvN drama Cheese in the Trap. The latest OTP poster mixes canary yellow with a light aubergine to create a really eye catching visual pop. Even better are the expressions on leads Park Hae Jin and Kim Go Eun‘s face, nicely conveying the dynamic of the two characters in the drama. … Continue reading →
The production of upcoming Korean-Chinese collaboration movie Bad Guys Always Die is certainly going all out on promotional materials. I don’t recall seeing this many different movie posters for any one movie before, with most on a yellow background for the Chinese release and the just released one of the two leads Son Ye Jin and Bolin Chen in a … Continue reading →
