The first stills are out for the next MBC Wed-Thurs drama Let’s Hold Hands Tightly and Watch the Sunset, with the network having taken a good month hiatus after I am Not a Robot ended to air the Winter Olympics and also get its shit together after too much scrambled airings and rushed filming. Sunset premieres on March 14th and brings together and older and established leading cast of Yoon Sang Hyun, Han Hye Jin, Yoo In Young, and Kim Tae Hoon, and honestly someone if not more than one is doing to die by the end both due to the synopsis and the folks cast. One thing going for this drama is the screenwriter being makjang and serious drama maestro Jung Ha Yeon who wrote Flames of Desire, Queen Insoo, Shin Don, and Cruel Palace: War of Flowers. Serious dramas have been bringing in more viewers than rom-coms so this may hit the spot, it certainly feels like quality over Hallyu hipness. Continue reading
