It’s been a few months since the end of hit jTBC drama Reborn Rich and one of the reasons for its success is the incredible cast from Lee Sung Min and Song Joong Ki down to every single chaebol family member. Recently K-netizens posted about an alterna-version of RR if it was a daily K-drama and here are those frequent … Continue reading →
Currently airing tvN Mon-Tues sageuk Our Blooming Youth isn’t doing so hot in ratings or buzz but the next drama might be the right genre to bring in more viewers. Family: The Unbreakable Bond stars Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara in their third full length drama together spanning three decades so quite a feat, but nothing compared to Hyukkie playing … Continue reading →
Daaaaaang, even my heart is fluttering just watching Wu Lei pile on his best younger man ardently pursuing the woman of his dreams full court press in the just dropped new trailer for sports romance C-drama Nothing But You. The drama has set the premiere date for next week on March 27th and dropped a new preview where Wu Lei … Continue reading →
I wish Yoo Ah In‘s drug use scandal and investigation only impacted him but alas there is such collateral damage with it. He had multiple movies and dramas already filmed scheduled to be released and as such the production companies have to decide how to salvage the situation. Netflix for Hellbound 2 recast him with Kim Sung Cheol since filming … Continue reading →
Now I kinda understand why this movie didn’t come out late last year before the 2022 World Cup since it’s a soccer feel good movie and having that additional excitement during the time period would have been good. Upcoming sports movie Dream with Park Seo Joon and IU despite the dream (pun intended) pairing seems rather bland in the first … Continue reading →
While K-ent is talking about which of the two leads in Extraordinary Attorney Woo and The Glory will get the Best Actress Baeksang, child actress Oh Ji Yul has the luck to be in both dramas in her short debut year. She was little Woo Young Woo last year and this year is the daughter of the baddie Yeon Jin … Continue reading →
Oh this looks so promising for me cuz I love both these cuties! Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk are confirmed for the sageuk romance time-travel Park’s Contract Marriage Story (The Story of Park’s Contract Marriage) with the drama slated for the second half of 2023. The drama is a time-travel story of Joseon’s most virtuous widow who is … Continue reading →
This might be the most extreme spectrum character swap in such a short period between projects than Jeon Do Yeon going from frumpy single mom in Crash Course in Romance to sleek assassin single mom in Kill Boksoon. Even if the upcoming Netflix movie isn’t that good story-wise at least it will have excellent acting all around, with veteran Sol … Continue reading →
Well this is a super out-of-left-field rumor but it’s gotten enough traction that there is an official response to it. Recently a Youtube video from a K-gossiper claimed that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin have divorced just shy of their one year anniversary and the reason being Hyun Bin is a massive gambling addict and has not only gambled … Continue reading →
What an unexpected way to suddenly hear from K-actress Lee Da Hae, who has basically been quiet from K-ent for years now with her last drama being The Good Witch in 2018. It’s super happy news so yay for that, the actress announced on SNS along with engagement pictures that she’s tying the knot with singer Se7en in May 2023 … Continue reading →
It’s been a week since The Glory Part 2 dropped on Netflix and I’m still coasting on the buzz of watching such a satisfying drama, especially that it didn’t drop the ball in the second half. The way each of the baddies got their comeuppance was supremely satisfying and that was in part to the fantastic acting of each as … Continue reading →
It’s actually normal for buzzy C-stars to be signed up to new dramas while filming current ones and maybe even more than one lined up. Strike while the iron is hot is super important and last year in 2022 was a MAJOR leveling up for C-actress Zhao Lu Si with back-to-back hit dramas Who Rules the World with Yang Yang … Continue reading →
So I’ll preface this by saying that I’m moderately excited for C-drama Only For Love but have pretty low expectations. That’s because C-dramas take any profession and workplace and just cosplay the shit out of it with pretty people and super sanitized settings and situations. The most recent two I watched was She and Her Perfect Husband with both the … Continue reading →
