It’s weird how time tempers disappointment. I’ll likely remember The King: Eternal Monarch fondly now that it’s over, the earlier episodes were just so inexplicably terrible and made for drastic expectation rewritting but as the episodes went on I settled into a nice rhythm with it. Each week I hoped it would make better sense and it never did but … Continue reading →
Dang, another cheating trash exposed but goodness it just makes me nauseous to read the details. Comedian 49-year old Watabe Ken was exposed by a tabloid doing detailed investigation that he had been cheating on his wife of three years 33-year old actress and model Sasaki Nozomi who is widely considered always among the lists of most beautiful Japanese entertainers … Continue reading →
The press conference for tvN drama It’s Okay to Not be Okay seemed to arrive super early, seeing as the drama doesn’t premiere for another week on June 20th. Or perhaps I’m used to the last minute scramble and do appreciate how on top of things this production seems to be. The cast got the black and white dress code … Continue reading →
Well, another surprise not quite surprise marriage and baby announcement. In 2020 you would think celebs would be fine just living openly as fans have long since moved past caring about their perceived “single and eligible” status. This week TW-actor Ming Dao revealed that he was married and now the father to a newborn baby son. Congrats dude, but what’s … Continue reading →
I’ve been rewatching the best bits of both Lee Min Go and Kim Go Eun‘s last dramas, to remind myself of what could have been better and actually elicited emotion from me. I didn’t much care for the OTP in either drama but in Legend of the Blue Sea I really needed to see Lee Min Ho’s character find his … Continue reading →

They have been dating for 7 years and it’s always low key, … Continue reading →

I was hoping Lee Jun Ki would be playing a wrongfully accused baddie in Flower of Evil running from his past but from all the posters including this latest one it just looks certain like he’s really the evil one. Sigh, there goes my happy ending but at least the angst will be through the roof since Moon Chae Won … Continue reading →
I don’t even know how to book flights nowadays because of quarantine restrictions for arrivals at so many places. Sigh, the looming dream of travel must continue to wait. But viewers can live vicariously with K-actor Lee Seung Gi and TW-actor Liu Yi Hao (Jasper Liu) as the two similar personality bright smile sunny disposition young men partner up for … Continue reading →
If you give Patrick Stewart or Ian McKellen the phone book to read the consummate thespians would make it sound interesting. That’s the true test of an actor or actress, to rise above crap and still come out smelling like roses in a terribly written or filmed drama/movie. Such is the case for Born Again, the recently ended KBS Mon-Tues … Continue reading →
With the fate of his band CNBLUE up in the air due to recent scandals, Kang Min Hyuk returned from two years in the military this past March 2020 and will look in the other avenue of his career prospects.
