This chapter 17 of Lost You Forever marks the end of Volume 1 of the novel. Volume 1 was simply titled Lost You Forever, but Volume 2 is further titled Telling of a Sorrowful Love, while Volume 3 has the additional title of Longing Without a Horizon. That gives a glimpse of what is to come, but before we get … Continue reading →
You can say I should have totally expected to see this type of poster for the upcoming K-movie Human Addiction starring Song Seung Heon in his first role in a raunchy and racy movie that promises lots of titillating and illicit action. But I’m still taken aback because in my mind I can still see Song Seung Heon playing the … Continue reading →
I swear I almost flipped a table when I saw the latest drama stills for Bride and the Century and realized that the next episode 9 wasn’t mere hours away, but was actually a day and many hours away. How can this drama torment me with such cuteness and expect me to stay sane? Kang Joo and Doo Rim in … Continue reading →
I’m not trying to be coy whenever people ask me when Bu Bu Jing Qing will air since the darn thing hasn’t been able to confirm a premiere date until now. This modern C-drama is the cinematic sequel to the blockbuster period drama Bu Bu Jing Xin (based on the same name Tong Hua novel), which feels like another lifetime ago … Continue reading →
The C-media is taken to calling the next generation of Hallyu kings being Lee Min Ho, Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Jong Seok, and Kim Woo Bin. Lest you want to quibble with your favorite oppa being left off the list, these four are indeed the current hottest it-boys of the moment so I’ll let them enjoy the limelight and see if … Continue reading →
It’s safe to say Bride of the Century is well on its way to being the crackiest K-drama of 2014 so far, and it’s going to be interesting to see if any offerings for the rest of the year can deliver a commensurate level of hilarious plot absurdity mixed with stirring emotional connection. This drama is the best of crazy … Continue reading →
Since the dating explosion in K-entertainment seems to have died down recently, at least C-ent continues to steadily churn out its fair share of dating innuendos and/or confirmations. For the last two years, the C-media have speculated that former Super Junior and now full-time C-actor Han Geng has been dating fresh-faced rising C-actress Jiang Kai Tong. Neither have confirmed nor … Continue reading →
Not all drama romances and love stories are equal. Some are more unforgettable than others due to the sheer angst factor, but such epic tales never induce anyone to say “hey, I really wish I experienced a love like that!” The college romance in In A Good Way evokes exactly that sentiment, the heady realistic scent of first love that … Continue reading →
The last chapter of Lost You Forever was a much needed dense back story of Xiao Yao and her cousin Zhuan Xu, but it also pushed the story forward in a new direction now that everyone is back at Xuan Yuan Mountain. From the Southern tips of Gao Xing to the Northern edges of Xuan Yuan, the vast wilderness is … Continue reading →
This is not good. I keep repeating the newest song off the Bride of the Century OST Choa‘s “Words I Couldn’t Say Yet” while staring pictures of Lee Hong Ki as Kang Joo. I thought my addiction to BotC was at manageable levels but might actually be one of those silent killers that will render me completely devoid of ability … Continue reading →
A huge and exciting cast confirmation today for the upcoming SBS drama It’s Okay, It’s Love which will be the first prime time Summer drama to lock down a cast. The two big name A-lister leads Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin will indeed be pairing up for the first time in their long careers, with the added bonus … Continue reading →
I’m intrigued about but not wildly looking forward to the upcoming MBC weekend drama Hotel King like all the My Girl fans dying for the reunion of Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae. Years ago I would have been, but my MG affection has waned since the drama really doesn’t hold up on rewatch with the wafer thin plot … Continue reading →
When the first rumored casting of Lee Bum Soo, Song Seung Heon, and Im Shi Wan as separated brothers who reunite as adults for the upcoming MBC drama Triangle was floated, I was all for it even if I think only one out of the three can act. The other two are eye candy enough for me to take it … Continue reading →
