The promos continue at a steady pace for Coupang Play thriller drama Bait and this time it’s a cover and spread in Cine 21 magazine. The drama will be split into two parts of 6-episodes apiece so it’s clear K-dramas continue to move towards seasonal airings and different formats. Starring Jang Geun Seok, Heo Sung Tae, and Lee Elijah, the … Continue reading →
So those of you watching the romance sageuk The Forbidden Marriage will have to tell me how male lead Kim Young Dae is doing. I watched the first episode, didn’t like or dislike it, but didn’t feel the urge to continue. He wasn’t bad in the first episode but it’s just set up and everyone was more or less serviceable. … Continue reading →

Spring is fast coming as and with it the upcoming Korean stage production of Shakespeare in Love, super high profile thanks to the casting of three sets of talented and buzzy actors and actresses in the lead roles of Shakespeare and Viola. I feel like K-actor Jang Geun Seok lost about a decade of his most prime acting period because he wanted to be Jang Geun Seok the singer-peformer-icon. That’s all good but he started off as one of the best teen actors of his generation and just barely touched the surface of adult roles before he went off to enjoy his … Continue reading →
This is such a sad news and even moreso on the cusp of lunar new year. My condolences to the family and friends of K-actor Na Chul, who most people will know my face more than name. He has been in over a dozen dramas and half a dozen movies but it wasn’t until Vincenzo last year that he got … Continue reading →
I wouldn’t consider K-actress Choi Sung Eun a rookie but she is still comparatively less known and a rising star. So that makes her casting as the leading lady in upcoming K-movie Ro Ki Wan a big win that she earned herself. The movie will star Song Joong Ki as the titular Ro Ki Wan, a North Korean defector to … Continue reading →

He used to … Continue reading →
A new still is out for upcoming SBS K-drama The Devil (or Demon) and it continues to be shiver inducing. The new still is just female lead Kim Tae Ri with her face lit among the dark shadows and she just slays with the expression and aura. This is definitely a prestige drama what with her leading along with fellow … Continue reading →
The C-drama train is off to a new year 2023 and one of the dramas I followed last year during filming has just gotten closer to airing. Modern sports romance Nothing But You has just gotten its airing permit but had to cut 2-episodes worth of material. That’s not a lot, some dramas get sliced even up to half, recently … Continue reading →
Hahaha, I think K-netizens have created a new episode idea for Running Man. The hit Netflix drama The Glory continues to be buzzworthy three weeks into airing and one of the praised elements is the excellent casting for the most part. The teen roles were pitch perfect and most of the adult roles have been deemed the right star for … Continue reading →
