Idol-turned-actor L (Kim Myung Soo) recently wrapped jTBC legal drama Miss Hammurabi, a nice job all-around in picking a successful drama with average ratings of 4.4% and also showing improvement as needed to continue his acting career. I actually found him quite endearing in My Lovely Girl and by all accounts he’s been doing better since then with Ruler: Master … Continue reading →
When the Korean drama flower boy trend started the early days it was Jung Woo Sung in the mid-90s and in the twenty years since that moniker has been attached to plenty of It Boys. I reserved judgment that K-actress Han Ji Min wasn’t just all around awful though it really seemed that way after the debacle that was Hyde, Jekyll, Me. In her first drama back since then she chose the do-over fantasy what-if drama Knowing Wife (Familiar Wife) with Ji … Continue reading →

I feel like Ji Chang Wook and Kang Ha Neul are having a complete blast serving their military enlistment. It’s by happenstance that the two popular actors and also musical veterans are serving in the army around the same time because they keep getting to showcase their singing chops together and looking mighty fine doing so. This time they get … Continue reading →
