I don’t foresee ever getting bored doing periodic checks on the rising young acting talent + major hottie that is Ji Soo. He’s not anywhere near popular enough to be covered by the K-media on a regular basis, nor has he cracked open his name and face recognition to the point of doing periodic major pictorials. That doesn’t mean he’s … Continue reading →
This fourth teaser is is my favorite by far from upcoming SBS weekend drama The Time I Loved You. It’s not much but does improve in the right direction, delivering in 30 short seconds tons of snippets that all work for me. There is the cute chemistry between leads Ha Ji Won and Lee Jin Wook, showing us their current … Continue reading →
Consider me impressed with the visuals so far of all the male leads of Scholar Who Walks the Night. First there was Lee Jun Ki as the titular vampire scholar, which is basically a role he can play in his sleep and the sageuk garb an outfit he rocks like no other. After his onset accident last week, Lee Jun … Continue reading →
I’m starting to get impatient waiting for news on Lee Jong Seok‘s next acting project. My gut tells me it’ll be a movie since his last work was the drama Pinocchio. I still don’t know why that drama wasn’t a buzzier hit, it really had everything working for me from OTP chemistry down to a impactful fully developed story. It was … Continue reading →
The cross-border collaborations aren’t limited to just China-Korea these days. For the 200th issue of China’s Grazia fashion magazine, the publication pulled out some young hip big guns to line up Chinese model-actress Angelababy (Yang Ying) and Japanese model-actress Mizuhara Kiko for as the cover couple. These two are actually good friends in real life and even share another common … Continue reading →
Not often does an upcoming drama stroll along that I actually want to watch because it looks terrible. The glossy C-drama Destined to Love You totally fits that bill because I’m curious if the actual drama will turn out to be as unintentionally hilarious as the previews suggests. Starring Chen Qiao En, Jia Nai Liang, Bosco Wong, and Zheng Shuang, … Continue reading →
This is one of the more random of K-ent dating rumors but its gained significant steam to make the rounds of all media on a lazy Friday morning. K-news is reporting that Lee Jun Ki and same agency actress Jeon Hye Bin are dating. Reportedly they first got to know each other better after working on the sageuk drama Joseon … Continue reading →
It’s been sooooooo long since Jo Hyun Jae was on my screen in a project worth watching. Not since 49 Days back in 2011, with his memorable turn as the straight man in a drama filled with fantasy elements and selfish people behaving badly. Since then he was in Ad Genius Lee Tae Bak and King’s Daughter Soo Baek Hyang, … Continue reading →
I’ve always thought J-actress Ishihara Satomi was the cutest thing EVER, no matter what type of character she’s playing there is an underlying adorable quality that peeks through. I haven’t loved a Satomi dorama since Rich Man, Poor Woman but she’s been working nonstop in doramas and movies in the last two years and her career might see a new … Continue reading →
The much beleaguered fantasy vampire sageuk Scholar Who Walks the Night got back on track this week after both its main leads were sidelined with hospital stay injuries. First Lee Jun Ki fractured his nose followed by Lee Yoo Bi hurting her lower back, with both injuries serious enough to send each to the hospital and stay there for a … Continue reading →
The first peeks were out already of Ha Ji Won and Lee Jin Wook playing high schoolers in The Time I Loved You but now the production has released official drama stills to go along with it. I love Ha Ji Won and find her a beautiful woman but there is no way in hell I’ll be fangirl blinded and say that … Continue reading →
I’m really looking forward to upcoming tvN Fri-Sat drama Oh My Ghost with a low key anticipation, which is the best attitude to have these days when it comes to dramas mostly being a disappointment. I’m a little tired of judging whether dramas are qualitatively good or not, which is also subjective, I just want a drama to hook me … Continue reading →
Bolin Chen and Puff Guo are both such well-known TW-entertainers with so many popular projects under their belts that each has costars that fans are attached to seeing paired as a couple. I certainly loved Bolin with Ariel Lin in In Time With You, their chemistry and not necessarily their romance narrative, and Puff with both Aaron Yan in Just You … Continue reading →
