This past weekend the hit jTBC weekend drama Strong Girl Nam Soon ended and with a new ratings high of over 10%, putting itself in the same storied list of top rated cable dramas on the network. It was the second installment of the same premise story of a teeny tiny girl with superhuman strength following Strong Girl Bong Soon and the success of both dramas has the production already greenlighting a third go-around but from the spoilers at the end of this drama it will be a guy as the lead. This drama had high ratings domestically but did not generate a lot of online buzz and chatter, though I did head good reviews for leads Lee Yoo Mi and Ong Seung Woo, as expected, and surprisingly strong feedback around Byun Woo Seok as the antagonist role. I liked the reunion of long lost daughter with her birth family story but everything else was a snooze for me.
