Woah baby, now this is something new for once I haven’t seen before in K-drama land. There is a remake of the 2007 dysfunctional romance K-drama Que Sera Sera in the works and the production is in talks with original leads Eric and Jung Yumi to star! That’s crazy, not only trying to remake QSS and recapture all the heat … Continue reading →
I think of this post as a public service, much like what motivated singer Jang Jae In to go public in the first place, but she probably was super angry and needed to vent as well. She was in the news two months ago in April after rumors of her dating her variety show costar singer Nam Tae Hyun. Their … Continue reading →

Politics, intrigue, and police procedural work seems to often go hand-in-hand with K-dramas in the thriller category. Another one is set for fall of 2019 on cable network OCN called Everyone’s Lies and will star Lee Min Ki and Lee Yoo Young. She was recently in the news with an alarming SNS post showing her mental wellbeing in a dark … Continue reading →
I’m not a fan of the belly showing pregnancy picture trend but it’s really par for the course nowadays. Especially with stars who can afford glitzy pictorials like the one TW-actress Ady An just shared with her fans this week. She’s 8-months pregnant and really all belly as she’s barely gained any weight anywhere else and remains as lithe and … Continue reading →

J-ent is abuzz today with the surprise announcement that top actress 33-year old Aoi Yu married 42-year old funnyman Yamasato Ryota, and after just 2 months dating as the pair met back in April of 2019. Add to that Park Ki Woong, Lee Ji Hoon, and Park Ji Hyun then it’s a veritable parade of pretties in the Joseon era. The first drama stills released gave off Moonlight … Continue reading →
There’s a fall drama in the works and the productions got their ducks all in a row because it’s fully cast already. But with how fast time is flying by nowadays it’s a good thing because before you know it fall will be here. For a drama packed with big leads the upcoming OCN procedural Watcher feels remarkably low key. Veteran leading man Han Suk Kyu makes his drama return opposite Kim Hyun Joo and the always hustling Seo Kang Joon. The two men are cops in the internal affairs investigation unit of the police force and further team up with Kim Hyun Joo’s … Continue reading →
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that short hair is officially in for 2019. K-actress Kim So Hyun debuted a very geometric short bob with bangs look just in time for her early June birthday and shared the look with her fans at this past weekend’s fan meeting. She’s the third big name young K-actress to … Continue reading →
In the Hong Sisters fantasy dramas they often pair a supernatural being with a human as the basis of the opposites attract and cannot be together tension ramped up to eternal. The same looks to happen again in their upcoming Hotel Del Luna set to premiere in July on tvN. IU plays a bad tempered thousands year old ghostly proprietress … Continue reading →
Last Friday GTV aired the first episode of new TW-drama Before We Get Married (We Cannot Be Friends) and thank you drama lords for giving me a new addiction back into TW-drama land! Starring Jasper Liu (Liu Yi Hao) and Puff Guo, the drama is addicting in that “bad for you but tastes so good” way, especially in transforming perennial … Continue reading →
