I do plenty of fanservice posts but its almost always for my own fangirling needs. This one is purely a “making the universe a better place” post by highlighting how it was a very very VERY good week for YunJae fans, JYJ fans, and DBSK fans. Former DBSK member and now JYJ member Jaejoong wrapped up his drama Triangle this … Continue reading →
The sky-rocketed popularity of Puff Guo over her two other Dream Girls group members Tia Li and Song Mi Jin makes me wonder how long the group will last. When the group launched three years ago, Tia was the most popular one due to her pretty doll looks and a built in fanbase that considered her the Goddess of Nerds. … Continue reading →
I need to thank all of you who pinged me one way or another asking if it’s true I’m making an appearance at KCON 2014. My lack of enthusiasm in my responses is 99.9% correlated to procrastinating the preparation for my panel and not related to a reluctance to attend. I skipped KCON last year due to my aversion to … Continue reading →
I’m going to have to apologize virtually to the lovely Lee Yeon Hee since her picture is splashed all over this post even though she has nothing to do with it. Happened that way because she happens to have attended the Busan Film Festival back in 2012 with Go Ara and Kim Min Jong who are in fact the subjects … Continue reading →
I’m not sure if this particular serious hiccup in Choi Sulli‘s career will have a happy ending but it’s a big enough entertainment shocker to cover. Sulli first came to my attention almost a decade ago as a child actress playing a memorable part as the child version of Lee Bo Young in the sageuk Seodongyeo. Years later she popped back up … Continue reading →
I’ve finally fallen for the charms of Lee Jong Seok despite years of wondering what exactly makes his fans gaga over him. It’s probably the height of irony that I actually grew to like him after Dr. Stranger, a troubled drama with a polarized audience base which plenty of his fans probably want to erase from his resume. I still … Continue reading →
Well that was quick. It took about under an hour for the respective agencies of actors Park Seo Joon and Baek Jin Hee to immediately issue denials over the published report that they had been dating for the past year. This news article didn’t come from the sleazy hands of Dispatch or Sports Seoul, since neither are idols worth camping … Continue reading →
There are certain impossible to deny signs that a dating couple is considering marriage. One is the bling bling engagement ring on the lady’s finger, and another is when one converts to the religion of the other. Religion is no joke, it’s not like meeting the parents and if it doesn’t work out in the long run then so be … Continue reading →
The Chinese A-list actress goddesses are falling like flies this year in terms of getting hitched and off the market. Not that the average joe, or most actors for that matter, could really ever hope to land one of these lovely ladies. The biggest news so far has been Gao Yuan Yuan marrying her younger TW-actor boyfriend Mark Chao, but … Continue reading →
With the upcoming court ordered mediation between former EXO member Kris (Wu Yi Fan) and SM Entertainment over his contract cancellation lawsuit, it’s no surprise that more “scandals” would emerge leading up to the mediation date scheduled on July 8th. This past weekend the Korean media exclusively reported, after being tipped off by an anonymous Chinese entertainment official, that Kris was … Continue reading →
No one can ever accuse Rainie Yang of being unable to act because she has the same one facial expression. To the contrary, she’s had to work hard to really reign herself in with a tendency to have a hundred different expressions some of which are delightfully animated. She’s like a walking manga shoujo heroine, with a saltier real life … Continue reading →
Another entertainment-related romance news hit the wires this week and this one is the reverse of last month’s announcement that Korean actress Chae Rim was marrying her Chinese actor boyfriend Gao Zi Qi. Chinese actress Tang Wei is engaged to critically acclaimed Korean movie director Kim Tae Young who directed her and Hyun Bin in the art house movie Late … Continue reading →
This post contains Song Seung Heon, various beautiful actresses from the Chinese-speaking entertainment world, and some explicit and steamy stills. If any or all of that is not your cup of tea, then I suggest you skip it rather and click more and then walk away with eyes wide open and tsk tsking about how inappropriate it is. I guess … Continue reading →
