Help me. Too many dramas goodies + too little time = zero ability to synthesize information anymore. My brain has reached maximum drama influx capability. I think the preview for 49 Days episode 13 is good, but I can’t seem to find the words to express my thoughts. Go watch and see what’s coming tomorrow.
Continue reading →Are the drama gods trying to kill me? Hot on the heels of the second Lie to Me trailer comes the second Best Love trailer. I suppose the two dramas NOT airing against each other is truly the only respite from two months of drama madness for me.
Continue reading →The second trailer for Lie to Me is here, and excuse me for a minute while I go bang my head against the wall to make sure I am not dreaming. Nope, not dreaming, this drama is so going to be my crack it’s not even funny. I’m sorry, but Kang Ji Hwan pissed as all hell at Yoon Eun … Continue reading →
For those of you addicted to Drunken to Love You, I’m here to tell you that the next few months is going to be lots of fun. Whenever there is a runaway drama hit in TW, if it’s a live-shot drama, the media goes berserk and the cast and crew have tons of fun filming and giving ridiculous interviews all … Continue reading →
You know, if Romance Town wasn’t premiering smack dab in the winner-take-all drama battle month of May, I would totally be more excited about it and follow its news slavishly. There are a few K-actresses who I have watched ALL of their dramas, for reasons completely unrelated to that actress, but more like I like their co-star or the story … Continue reading →
A housekeeping matter first – I’ve been alerted to the fact that my DTLY posts have been lifted (some with and some without proper credit) and have been floating around drama cyberspace in various sites. I hate being a school marm with the big stick and having to explain cyber-etiquette, but please don’t take my work, for this drama or anything at … Continue reading →
I knew this would happen. Since 49 Days is not my crack of choice (the way it is for others of you), the onslaught of pre-premiere goodies for the May dramas and the completely unexpected awesomeness that is Drunken to Love You has me completely forgetting about 49 Days, and almost missed this written preview for episode 13. I’m sure … Continue reading →
Come and get it. Hot off the press teaser trailer for Lie to Me with Kang Ji Hwan and Yoon Eun Hye. I can’t even lie about it. I pretty much paid no attention to plot, tone, anything – my eyes were glued to Eun Hye and Ji Hwan in their every interaction. ZOMG I need this now. These two … Continue reading →
Have you had one of those days where everything about the day is perfectly nice, but you are inexplicably in a shitty mood. Today was one of those days for me, but I’m attempting to use good things (such as watching Drunken to Love You episode 2 – OMG SO GOOD I HAVE NO WORDS), and good news (this interview I’m … Continue reading →
Sometimes all it takes is one performance to change my opinion of an actor or actress. Kim Tae Hee did just that in My Princess. It was the most comfortable and honest performance I’ve ever seen from her, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It won’t wash away her stinker performances of the past, but it makes me … Continue reading →
What to do when there is a lull in goodies? Why, pounce on the littlest nugget like it’s a twelve-course meal from a three-star Michelin restaurant. Best Love released a BTS video that is hardly what I would call spoilery. But it’s cute, and gives us a glimpse of our heroine and her oppa/manager. Whenever I watch any BTS video, … Continue reading →
This is way too cute not to share. The Korean restaurant brand San Soo is promoting its line of mother’s-helper food stuffs, and who better to help sell to the omma than a trio of Korean actors with different types of appeal. San Soo rounded up Song Seung Heon (my oppa!), Yoon Sang Hyun (forever and always Tae Bong), and Song Joong … Continue reading →
Jang Geun Seok earned another first last month – he became the first K-actor to appear on the cover of the Japanese magazine AnAn (JYJ‘s Jaejoong was on the cover of AnAn last year as the first K-idol to grace the pages). I think it’s a sign that Jang Geun Seok has made it as a noona-killer in Japan, joining the illustrious ranks … Continue reading →
