It’s the second week of TW-drama Before We Get Married and boy am I conflicted. On one hand I am addicted beyond belief but on the other neither lead is a “good” character that makes me sympathetic to their complicated emotions. All I care about is seeing leads Puff Guo and Jasper Liu give in to their wild sexual chemistry … Continue reading →
Now this is a cute way to reveal a baby, even if it’s also a tad coy. C-actress Liu Shi Shi shared the first picture of her newborn baby boy this week on her SNS and it was to cheer on the high school students about to take the vaunted college entrance exam. The picture she posted had his wee … Continue reading →
Woah baby, now this is something new for once I haven’t seen before in K-drama land. There is a remake of the 2007 dysfunctional romance K-drama Que Sera Sera in the works and the production is in talks with original leads Eric and Jung Yumi to star! That’s crazy, not only trying to remake QSS and recapture all the heat … Continue reading →
I think of this post as a public service, much like what motivated singer Jang Jae In to go public in the first place, but she probably was super angry and needed to vent as well. She was in the news two months ago in April after rumors of her dating her variety show costar singer Nam Tae Hyun. Their … Continue reading →
Wowsers, surprise weddings apparently comes in twos this week! TW-supermodel Lin Chi Ling is dominating the entertainment page today with the announcement of her marriage to Japanese singer-actor Akira (real name Kurosawa Ryohei) of the group EXILE. The bride is 44-years old and the groom 37, and the two have known each other since 2011 when they performed on the … Continue reading →
Politics, intrigue, and police procedural work seems to often go hand-in-hand with K-dramas in the thriller category. Another one is set for fall of 2019 on cable network OCN called Everyone’s Lies and will star Lee Min Ki and Lee Yoo Young. She was recently in the news with an alarming SNS post showing her mental wellbeing in a dark … Continue reading →
I’m not a fan of the belly showing pregnancy picture trend but it’s really par for the course nowadays. Especially with stars who can afford glitzy pictorials like the one TW-actress Ady An just shared with her fans this week. She’s 8-months pregnant and really all belly as she’s barely gained any weight anywhere else and remains as lithe and … Continue reading →
As long as the couple is happy together is all I care about when I read about marriages. J-ent is abuzz today with the surprise announcement that top actress 33-year old Aoi Yu married 42-year old funnyman Yamasato Ryota, and after just 2 months dating as the pair met back in April of 2019. The newlyweds held a press conference … Continue reading →
This is a two-fer surprise and both much appreciated to see. The first is that apparently actress-singer IU is friends with top actress Song Hye Kyo, and unni went all out this week sending a food and drink meal truck gift to her dongsaeng on the night set of filming tvN drama Hotel Del Luna. Night shoots are the hardest … Continue reading →
There a lot of pretty faces in upcoming MBC Wed-Thurs drama Rookie Historian Goo Hye Ryung starting off with the leads Shin Se Kyung and Cha Eun Woo. Add to that Park Ki Woong, Lee Ji Hoon, and Park Ji Hyun then it’s a veritable parade of pretties in the Joseon era. The first drama stills released gave off Moonlight … Continue reading →
There’s a fall drama in the works and the productions got their ducks all in a row because it’s fully cast already. But with how fast time is flying by nowadays it’s a good thing because before you know it fall will be here. SBS has lined up the K-drama VIP starring Lee Sang Yoon and Jang Nara, a curious … Continue reading →
For a drama packed with big leads the upcoming OCN procedural Watcher feels remarkably low key. Veteran leading man Han Suk Kyu makes his drama return opposite Kim Hyun Joo and the always hustling Seo Kang Joon. The two men are cops in the internal affairs investigation unit of the police force and further team up with Kim Hyun Joo’s … Continue reading →
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that short hair is officially in for 2019. K-actress Kim So Hyun debuted a very geometric short bob with bangs look just in time for her early June birthday and shared the look with her fans at this past weekend’s fan meeting. She’s the third big name young K-actress to … Continue reading →
