There hasn’t a single misstep so far with rom-com C-movie Go Lala Go 2, a movie sequel that totally eclipses the hype of the original thanks to the addition of three of Taiwan’s top acting talent. Ariel Lin takes over the role of office girl Lala, with Vic Zhou as her stalwart photographer boyfriend and Bolin Chen as the sexy … Continue reading →
I’m loving the expressive and colorful promos for upcoming tvN drama Cheese in the Trap. The latest OTP poster mixes canary yellow with a light aubergine to create a really eye catching visual pop. Even better are the expressions on leads Park Hae Jin and Kim Go Eun‘s face, nicely conveying the dynamic of the two characters in the drama. … Continue reading →

I think screenwriter Park Hye Ryun has a great eye for casing, with reportedly her getting lots of say in how her dramas are cast. I Hear Your Voice spawned the unlikely onscreen successful pairing of Lee Jong Seok and Lee Bo Young, and then Park Hye Ryun managed to do it again with Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong … Continue reading →
It was expected that there would be fast updates once filming begins on 2016 airing K-drama Arbitrarily Fond with Kim Woo Bin and Suzy. Agree! Totally 100% agree with this voting result, which is becoming more and more a rarity these days. Sometimes I wonder if my tastes have stayed the same while the newer drama viewers are headed in a different direction, but then a special drama comes along that hits all the right spots for me and then I could care less … Continue reading →
I sense that SBS knows exactly what it has to work with on upcoming Wed-Thurs drama Remember and is doing a bang up job of maximizing it on all the promos. I get super excited during the week lead up to every new Sunday episode of Marry Me or Not. This is one drama that has managed to be the best aspects of Taiwan dramas do the best – silly slap stick blended with nuanced emotional development. Office Girls remains one of my fondest Taiwan drama watches but it was admittedly … Continue reading →
This juicy dating rumor feels like a stretch, not to mention a good year too late to be worth its sizzle. Taiwan netizens are speculating that all the recent dating rumors between idol-actress Tia Li and fallen TW-actor Kai Ko is actually a front for Tia’s real romance with her former costar Aaron Yan. Say what was my first reaction, … Continue reading →
