With reigning weekend KBS K-drama king My Golden Life set to wrap up soon, the landscape opens up for a new weekend drama to ramp up a different buzz. Two that I have eyes on are SBS drama Good Witch and MBC drama My Husband Oh Jak Doo. Both dramas released official posters this week tailored to the weekend crowd, bright colors and brighter expressions. Good Witch has Lee Da Hae playing twins, a housewife married to Bae Soo Bin who needs to masquerade as her stewardess bad sister along with airline pilot Ryu Soo Young. My Husband Oh Jak Doo has UEE playing a career woman who marries country bumpkin Kim Kang Woo so that she can shed the stigma of being unmarried for her own career advancement. These two dramas will also have competition with KBS airing Marry Me Now with Han Hye Jin and Lee Sang Woo to take over the time slot of My Golden Life. Continue reading
