So this is the type of huge K-drama casting announcement that we need at least 2-3 of per year, the big name big production combo that gets viewers excited for a tentpole or event drama. Gong Yoo is reportedly entertaining an offer to join Song Hye Kyo in the new drama by award winning screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung. It’s a … Continue reading →
So Cannes Film Festival is undoubtedly the most famous and prestigious international festival and it’s coming next month in May with the film selections in the various categories announced last week. Chinese stars have routinely attended Cannes but it’s almost always the movie stars, former top actress Fan Bing Bing for example was there every year just for the red … Continue reading →
I feel like C-netizens come up with stuff all the time for top actress Dilraba Dilmurat and it’s mostly harmless and kinda charming. There was her “angel squat” a few months ago and now it’s her “manga legs”. Reba was attending the press conference for variety show where she donned a high school uniform and since then rocketed to the … Continue reading →
The Fox Spirit Matchmaker series is a big IP for streaming platform iQiyi and it’s almost done filming the third and final chapter and the first one finished two years ago isn’t even out yet. So this is totally not on Luo Yun Xi and honestly I’m impressed with how he manages to pull this off. Leads Yang Zi and Xu Kai are in a group drama that spends more time on family and work stuff so those looking for a romance-centric offering this is not it. I tried but got … Continue reading →
It’s the second to last weekend airing of tvN hit drama Queen of Tears and I’m so not ready to let go. It’s like we viewers are parallel living the nostalgia and amazing experience of watching this drama along with in-drama female lead Hae In trying to keep her memories of her love and marriage to husband Hyun Woo. What … Continue reading →
So C-ent has been watching the fourth top flower with a drama waiting to air to see how she fares. So C-actress Zhao Lu Si and her partnership with Italian couture house Versace is not off to a good start this year. Her attendance in Macau last month got a lot of negative feedback for her outfit, makeup, and her general visuals. She’s tiny and petite, totally beautiful but not the type of towering model looks that can pull off … Continue reading →
