The best way to describe Mon-Tues SBS romance drama Temperature of Love is room temperature, that horrible in between state of being not cold enough to be a refreshing gulp or hot enough to be a sizzling sip. Week 2 started off with episodes 5 and 6 taking in 8.2% and 10.4% ratings, this is pretty uninspiring considering that rival … Continue reading →
K-actress Lee Shi Young continues to be girl power goals as she barrels ahead in her life with such sunshine and strength. This past weekend the actress updated her SNS account to share pictures of her achievement in running a half marathon, made all the more impressive considering she is 6 months pregnant. Of course it’s quite fine to run … Continue reading →
Seeing the beautiful and luminous Kim So Hyun in the pages of High Cut magazine but styled so oddly elicits that odd grin and grimace expression from me. I thought K-actress Gu Hye Sun‘s hairstyle was dreadful at a recent department store art exhibit signing event, with widely spaced messy bangs and long frizzy ends locks. Looks like she may … Continue reading →
, The fall fashion show season is in full swing and so many C-actresses have been tapped by major fashion houses as spokesmodels or guests. Rising actress Dilraba Dilmurat takes it a step further as she was in Milan for the Dolce & Gabbana fall 2017 collection runway as a model on stage. She’s the face of the brand in … Continue reading →
This Wednesday is the arrival of highly promoted SBS pre-produced drama While You Were Sleeping, teaming up for the third time screenwriter Park Hye Ryun with her most often used male lead Lee Jong Seok. Even if this drama is a hit I think this ought to be it for these two, Park Hye Ryun has had a good run … Continue reading →
I know what I find pretty when I see it but it’s also hard not to slightly have concerns that go along with it. C-actress Guli Nazha was in Milan last week for the Fendi fashion show as a guest and spokeswoman for the couture house and I was blown away by how amazingly gorgeous she looked. The softly upswept … Continue reading →
I haven’t seen Ariel Lin in public for the last few months, which makes sense since she’s filming a TW-drama only, unlike her good friend Rainie Yang who is also filming a drama but is doubly busy out promoting her new album and supporting a rock star boyfriend in concert. But quantity can’t hold a candle to quality and Ariel … Continue reading →
C-ent must’ve been thrilled to hear in recent months that popular stars Zhao Li Ying and Feng Shao Feng were cast as the leads in an upcoming time-travel period C-drama. The two filmed a movie last year and afterwards have been embroiled in dating rumors stemming from being seen together entering and exiting a residence parking garage in what appeared … Continue reading →
When coincidences hit a certain number is when a trend emerges and 2017 definitely smells of short hair with K-actresses. I don’t mind but this time around with the short hair trend I’m not feeling most of the looks. Idol-actress Krystal is the latest to get onboard this train and is doing it in real life and not for a … Continue reading →
SBS is gearing up for While You Were Sleeping next week to take over the Wed-Thurs time slot and hopefully bring the network back to a ratings win. Leading lady Suzy has been decent enough in promos though it’s impossible to judge on snippets alone, but one thing that’s clear is that her character is the usual spunky type that … Continue reading →
Cable network tvN is not having a good 2017 overall, the Mon-Tues dramas have been disappointments from Sensitive Boss to Bride of the Water God though Argon now is picking up, and Wed-Thurs resumed airing with Criminal Minds was a failed attempt all around. The bright spot has been on Sat-Sun with Living Up to Your Name (Deserving of the Name) … Continue reading →
Being bummed with something I wanted so badly to love really sucks, and even worse is not even dropping from love to like to salvage things a bit. This week K-netizens are really not feeling it for the saturation of noona-dongsaeng romances on prime time dramas. There’s Seo Hyun Jin and Yang Se Jong on Mon-Tues with Temperature of Love … Continue reading →
I’m feeling a completest mode when it comes to keeping up with the next SBS Wed-Thurs drama While You Were Sleeping, following so intently from the very beginning last year when it was announced that Lee Jong Seok was going for his third go-around with screenwriter Park Hye Ryun. Now it’s T-minus 6 days to go until the premiere and … Continue reading →
