Gosh, they grow up so fast. Every time I see an actor come back from South Korea’s mandatory military service I will have known that my kids are two years older and it’s just a bittersweet feeling. Singer-actor Jinyoung (Jung Jin Young) of B1A4 and Moonlight Drawn by Clouds and Persevere, Goo Hae Ra has completed his army service after enlisting in mid-2019. He’s caught my eye as a rookie actor since he ventured into that side of K-ent and I feel like he left for service before his acting career could really take off. He’s got potential and I expect if he picks the right roles he could really male solo leading man in 2-3 years. He’s already got his first possible comeback role as the younger police academy recruit in upcoming KBS drama Police Academy, which will likely star Cha Tae Hyun in the role of the sunbae. Welcome back Jinyoung and good luck on phase 2 of your career progression.
