Going into this year end review, I wasn’t nearly as enthusiastic as I was last year. I can’t pinpoint why, other than perhaps I simply wrote so much I wore myself out. All my drama writing in the 365 days since the 2010 year end review did make my fingers consider going on strike. My brain wasn’t that far behind either. I convinced myself that everyone already knows what I think about the dramas I watched, so why bother writing more. It was only later that I conceded the redundancy argument was really a smokescreen for my laziness at play, so my gunner personality took over and evicted the striking fingers and brain from Occupy The Bed and made them get back to work. After much coffee and lots of random introspection, I managed to produce a year end review that has a lot of words. I make no promises any of it strings together into a coherent sentence.

Man of Honor is officially dead to me. This is my last anything related to it. The writer for this drama must never be allowed to write again. This isn’t aiming high and then failing to reach it. This is … Continue reading
I’m still hanging in there for Man of Honor, so strong is my love for PIE and Min Young, who are gamely trudging through the mess that is this drama. My gut feeling is that the writer has no clue … Continue reading
I’m just hoping that Jae In’s discovery of the whole truth and nothing but the truth about what In Woo’s dad did (and is still trying to do) will rocket Man of Honor into overdrive. Or maybe just not get … Continue reading
Episode 18 of Man of Honor got better in the sense that more stuff happened. But considering one major scene involved Jae In’s barely recovered formerly comatose mom stabbing Woo’s dad’s arm while looking like a rabid beaver, then perhaps … Continue reading
I love Man of Honor because Young Kwang and Jae In are darling together, but everything else pretty much sucks. The sudden spate of In Woo-shipping also weirds me out. Even though I’m enjoying his character’s development, he’s still mostly … Continue reading
The lack of consistency in Man of Honor continues with episode 16, except this time the pendulum swings in the favor of the viewer, with this episode being one of the good ones. Still nothing happens that is remotely realistic … Continue reading
Man of Honor isn’t so insane that it veers into cracktastic territory, yet it remains so outlandish that I’m pretty much treating it like a K-version of a Grimm Fairytale of sorts (but heaps more stupid). I wish it were … Continue reading
There is a surprise surrounding the big spoiler shown in the video preview for episode 15 of Man of Honor. I won’t mention anything else other than it’s double our pleasure. Hee. Whenever this drama is silly and preposterous, which … Continue reading
You all must watch this preview for Man of Honor episode 15. Forget everything else and just forward to the last 15 seconds. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. Seeing what In Woo’s dad has up to sleeve (instead of … Continue reading
It’s with a happy heart I give thanks for everything wonderful in my life, and even more thanks for support and love to get me through the not so wonderful things. Dramas are fun diversions, but real life is about … Continue reading
Yay, so happy that episode 13 of Man of Honor reversed the doldrums and regained some of its snap, crackle, and pop back. While this drama isn’t turning out to be anywhere near great, at least the hope remains alive … Continue reading
Talking about taking a great leap forward after running in place for a few episodes. Episode 13 (and the previews for episode 14) of Man of Honor indicate that multiple game-changing reveals are here or on its way. I’m so … Continue reading
