I feel like actor-singer Jang Geun Seok came back from military service with one of the most changed vibes I’ve seen from all my boys that have gone off to the army over the last decade. He’s still doing many of the same things but I feel he’s really grown up and grown out of the wild rocker boy experimental … Continue reading →
Okay this is kinda hilarious and turns TW-singer Wilber Pan and his recent marriage into a further newsworthy story of their own making. Wilber married his much younger Chinese flight attendant girlfriend Luna last month and it turns out C-netizens have lots to discuss about her. From her Instagram it was clear she ran in the same circles as other … Continue reading →

With COVID-19 ending nowhere in sight, I wonder if upcoming sci-fi action movie Space Sweepers (Spaceship Victory) should have kept its summer time slot rather than delaying to October 1. Train to Busan sequel Peninsula is cleaning up at the box office albeit with half the haul it could have done due to movie theaters blocking off every other seat. … Continue reading →
This was a rough episode of It’s Okay to Not be Okay to watch, probably as dark as it gets with both the narrative and the title fairy tale written by Moon Young of The Hand, The Monkfish,. There is usually some levity in each episode, and a sense of hopefulness, but episode 14 was the hammer dropping of both … Continue reading →
Hhhmmm, interesting of the production for upcoming melodrama When I Was Most Beautiful to keep viewers on their toes over which brother leading lady Im Soo Hyang will end up with. From the first poster she’s all Ghost pottery making with Ha Suk Jin‘s older brother while poor lovelorn younger brother Ji Soo sits on the stairs as the lurking … Continue reading →
I’m so happy tvN is restoring the English title for upcoming youth modeling-acting drama back to Record of Youth which is the literal translation of the Korean title and not the bland The Moment which further sucked because there are tons of movies and dramas out there called The Moment already. If this drama captures the youth dreams and lives … Continue reading →
tvN Sat-Sun drama It’s Okay to Not be Okay is both about psychiatry and fairy tales, or really how fairy tales is an encapsulation and discussion about mention and emotional issues. Each episode is named about a fairy tale, most are from Western tales with a few taken from Moon Young’s stories that she’s written. Episode 13 is the first … Continue reading →
Okay, pass the popcorn m’kay? I am soooooo here for the popcorn, and if this turns out to be another one of those “netizens eagle-eye knows it all from the beginning” type truth even if far-fetched imma have to bow down again. This week the persistent rumor, since earlier this year starting in February 202, that former couple Song Hye … Continue reading →
My takeaways from the posters, stills, and synopsis for upcoming Channel A melodrama Lie of Lies is that it’s like a prison sentence in and of itself to marry into a chaebol family and lies beget more lies. K-actress Lee Yu Ri turns to the dark side for her own flesh and blood in Lies of Lies, playing a mother … Continue reading →
There’s always a handful of youth romance K-dramas every year and the ones that interest me either come from the casting of leads I like or from positive word of mouth after the drama airs. I’m interested in upcoming jTBC romance Live On with Minhyun (Hwang Min Hyun) of the boy group NU-EST and also Wanna One acting opposite grown … Continue reading →
Bwahahahaha, OMG wiping away tears here. The first teaser is out for upcoming jTBC second chance drama 18 Again and its come out of nowhere level funny. Like, was not expecting this. The first half of the teaser has leads Kim Ha Neul and Yoon Sang Hyun seriously with melo music galore discussing the failure of their marriage and she’s … Continue reading →
I realized that nearly all of the most popular younger generation K-actors have had a chance now to play a sageuk king, prince, or even fictional modern day Korean king/emperor. It’s totally an excuse for me to collect the entire menagerie of regal hotness for a question – who is your hottest His Majesty or His Royal Highness? For me … Continue reading →
