Being a mom I’ve done my share of telling the kids “like, maybe doing that is a baaaad idea, baby” and dealing with either agreement or insistence on going ahead. The decision to make a C-movie adaptation of The Journey of Flower from the original source novel nearly ten years after the hit C-drama adaptation just seems like a giant … Continue reading →
So one of the most high profile K-dramas of 2024 has kicked off production as male lead Kim Woo Bin posted a picture of his character name placard on the table of what appears to be the script reading for the drama Everything Will Come True. It’s written by ratings magnet and probably the most well known screenwriter in K-drama … Continue reading →
I’ll seen this movie before and it certainly feels like major ass covering. The Anti-corruption division of a major Seoul police department has done a raid and search of the offices of tabloid Dispatch as well as the drug division of another police department, the one that was in charge of the original drug use and blackmail investigation into now … Continue reading →
So this is a step up in all ways for me and I hope he accepts the role. Yeo Jin Gu is up for the male lead of K-drama Serenade (Saraenaedae) and if that drama title sounds familiar it’s the sageuk that was in talks with Jo Byung Gyu and he ended up not signing on for. It’s a lighter … Continue reading →

So I think this one is coming soon as well and who knows we may have two currently airing Xu Kai dramas at the same time. I don’t mind, love this boy but I could do with spacing his dramas out more so I have more time to enjoy. The modern workplace romance C-drama As Beautiful as You with Tan … Continue reading →

What’s new C-netizens? Apparently it’s the same old, same old, with newly premiered xianxia C-drama Sword and Fairy 4 (Chinese Paladin 4) getting the first major non billing order complaint since it was released. The netizen backlash is against supporting actress Mao Xiao Hui who is being criticized for her lacking visuals onscreen and made worse by the photoshopped promo … Continue reading →
When I first went into My Demon I noticed it’s weak spots and gaps but found the drama as a whole really engaging and worth watching. But as K-dramas are wont to do, as it went along it never got better and the weak parts started to weigh down the show to the point I FF-d the last few episodes … Continue reading →
So while I love Yang Zi this is not one of her C-dramas that I am all that interested in watching. The drama is called Love Endures (Stories of Love and Youth) and filmed last year with Yang Zi and Fan Cheng Cheng as her male lead and with a broad supporting cast as it’s based on an anthology structure … Continue reading →

Fendi held a show in Milan last week for its menswear collection and in attendance from K-ent was Lee Min Ho and Greg Hsu was there from T-ent. It’s a fitting crossing of the streams as each is also … Continue reading →
