So I hope this isn’t one of those bait and switches where news says Lee Soo Hyuk is the male lead and then later we find out he’s just ONE of the male leads and not even the main one. This week K-ent is reporting that versatile and charismatic actor Lee Soo Hyuk is getting his male lead glow up … Continue reading →
It’s sad that Disney+ hasn’t made any headway in South Korea K-drama land despite having a built in brand name with a portfolio of popular Hollywood movies and TV shows to surround its investment into exclusive K-dramas. I’ve heard some have been good but nothing has made a splash in greater buzz, perhaps Snowdrop was as close as it got. … Continue reading →

So I thought with a two week break without a new period C-drama drop this summer of 2023 the premiere train stopped but today iQiyi doesn’t mind being late to the party as it premiered Love You Seven Times. Starring Ding Yu Xi and Yang Chao Yue, this is one lead pairing that has a negative appeal to me but … Continue reading →

I mentioned its been a lackluster summer 2023 season for domestic K-movies to date but this upcoming one premiering during the family holiday Chuseok season seems primed to lure in audiences. Kang Dong Won may be solely a movie star but he’s not one to wait too long between projects and his next movie is Dr. Cheon and The Lost … Continue reading →
