The just finished filming and highly anticipated Fox Spirit Matchmaker (涂山小红娘) with Yang Mi and Gong Jun is actually the first of three Fox Spirit Matchmaker dramas. That chapter is called the Yue Hong chapter (月红篇), and was supposed to go into production second behind the Zhu Ye chapter (竹业篇). But the Zhu Ye chapter with female lead Liu Shi … Continue reading →
I don’t think skipping the casting of Seo Ye Ji for the upcoming TVing drama Island has anything impact on the audience excitement as everyone keeps getting hyped up for the return of Kim Nam Gil in a big budget action thriller like this. His last drama Through the Darkness was so highly lauded by critics and appreciated by viewers … Continue reading →
Everyone says holiday creep happens earlier and earlier this year and now it’s the Best and Worst of Lists that seem to start way before the year has even wrapped. Alrighty, a ton of currently filming C-dramas wrapped filming over the weekend so it’s time for goodies. The first is the fantasy supernatural drama The Demon Hunter’s Romance (Chinese title 無憂渡 which means Worry Free Ferry or to transport someone over the water without worry). It’s clearly referring to the afterlife where souls are ferried across the River of Forgetfulness … Continue reading →
This isn’t quite a notable award but it is an award lol and definitely confirms the popularity of C-drama Love Like the Galaxy overseas. Winning Best Web Drama was Love … Continue reading →
A big happy birthday to C-actress Yang Zi who is undoubtedly the most popular and famous former child actress turned into an adult career in China. Yang Zi debuted in 1999 when … Continue reading →

C-rumors are saying that dating C-stars Luhan and Guan Xiaotong have gotten their documents (i.e. registered their marriage) and will announce the news around lunar new year 2023. Getting marriage documents quietly is very common in C-ent before having weddings or even announcing. Luhan and … Continue reading →
The postponement of Yang Mi‘s drama She and Her Perfect Husband with Xu Kai may end up being great for her, as that drama is just a fluffy rom-com but now she gets to come back with the serious medical drama Thank You Doctor which is getting her rave reviews. The drama premiered this weekend and a 5-episode first day … Continue reading →

The best annuity is having one mega hit that basically pays dividends for the rest of life, and only few stars can enjoy lucking into that. The male lead in Hidden God is the son of the … Continue reading →
