My boy! And he’s looking fly as heck to boot! K-actor Yoo Seung Ho has updated his SNS this weekend and it’s just two pictures of him chillaxing in front of a brick wall of what appears to be a restauarant/cafe place. He’s so sporting what may be a bowl-ish cut, not as short as a buzz but still somehow … Continue reading →
Okay, take this with the usual C-ent gossip grain of salt but it’s being covered in the C-media so I’ll share it. A Chinese netizen claims to have run into Park Seo Joon recently in England, which sounds plausible since he’s been filming overseas there. She claims she ran into him in a luxury store on High Street but the … Continue reading →
This really was a filler week for Alchemy of Souls but it ended up being much needed. The first 8 episodes were such fast paced action and plot progression its a breath of fresh air to see the youngsters being young and adorable with no life and death stakes. Mu Duk passes the servant test to enter Songrim thanks to … Continue reading →
I’m the type to get things done as early as possible especially things that are not fun but still need to get it over with. If I were a dude in South Korea I would enlist as early as possible but for entertainers it’s definitely a shot in the dark either way. Enlist early and start the arduous star road … Continue reading →
The promos are really heating up for upcoming SBS Fri-Sat drama Today’s Webtoon, adapted from the manga Juhan Shuttai which was adapted already into the J-dorama Sleepeeer Hit! in 2016. I hear webtoons are SO POPULAR in South Korea as it’s daily or multiple times a week updates and easy to read on cell phones while commuting on trains so … Continue reading →
Last week’s two episodes of Alchemy of Souls were a whirlwind and there was also the news about Part 2 that sent viewers into a tizzy so it’s nice that this Saturday’s episode 9 was a total slow break. Half the episode was spent at the gisaeng house celebrating Wook’s entry into Songrim, which is basically the Hogwarts of this … Continue reading →
I don’t know if anyone in the cast and crew knew they were sitting on a goldmine when they signed up for Extraordinary Attorney Woo. That’s the best kind of success, unexpected and from a product made with love and care that is being appreciated. The drama wrapped filming this week, so it has plenty of time to make post-production … Continue reading →
If you’re allergic to Joo Won (I used to be!) or dislike angry bloodied men with a gun this this is clearly NOT for you. But for the rest of us it’s like the logical next step after Joo Won did Alice. Make him angrier (haha) and take away his memory and see what havoc he wreaks. The first stills … Continue reading →
Man, I wish I had both Im Soo Hyang‘s work ethic and her ability to keep getting cast in drama after drama when it comes to my own work streak. She doubled up this past June with SBS drama Woori the Virgin and MBC drama Doctor, Lawyer and now she’s not even done with that drama yet and will be … Continue reading →
Okay, this is totally the handiwork of the Kairos PD! Like, it has all the trappings of being just as awesome with a different twisty story. The new preview out is da bomb, so sleek and yet thrumming with just below the surface emotion. Ji Sung plays twin brothers (a walk in the park for him) investigating a decades old … Continue reading →
I’m surprised that I liked Yumi’s Cells 2 this much, I thought it would be a nice watch but never expected to be so emotionally invested. All praise not just to Kim Go Eun‘s delicate and lovely acting but to how the production continued to develop her cells and take us along that emotional journey. New stills are out for … Continue reading →
The success of ENA drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo isn’t just a domestic South Korea event, on July 14th Flixpatrol has it number 6 on the worldwide top 10 streaming TV shows on Netflix so it’s getting worldwide views as well. K-news is reporting that the production has received offers from multiple platforms to remake the drama for the US market … Continue reading →
