A burgeoning scandal is like a fire. It can die on its own if it’s small and has no tinder (truth and/or coverage), but if it has legs behind it then the only way to stave off burning the house down is to fight it properly with water (i.e. a response and follow ups). The exploded within the past 24-hours … Continue reading →

A Koala's Playground Posted on by

When I watch Yumi’s Cells I enjoy nearly all of it, but when there are no new episodes I’m not anxiously waiting. I guess it mirrors Yumi’s overall mentality, she puts her all into her life (work, love) but with the things not there she’s not fretting about it. Episodes 9-10 were this past weekend and it wasn’t the relationship … Continue reading →

It takes two to tango but why do I get the sense that jTBC is showcasing one lead more than the other, and perhaps not for the reasons of favortism. The first teaser preview is out for upcoming period romance Snowdrop and it’s as softly lit and focusing more on mood as expected. I see so much more on male … Continue reading →

A Koala's Playground Posted on by

My first thought was – did Vogue Korea scramble to shoot and re-shuffle the cover model for it’s November 2021 edition or was it just serendipitous timing that the cover star just had the fastest meteoric rise as a rookie actress I’ve ever seen in K-ent. Model and now actress Jung Ho Yeon is in three different and all striking … Continue reading →
