It’s normal for K-netizens to note when a celeb couple involves the male star heading off to military service soon. If it’s active service then the couple will only be able to see each other on furloughs and that’s naturally hard to keep the connection strong and the feeling ongoing. With that said, I sure hope the new couple of … Continue reading →
Now this is what I want from a fashion pictorial, the right blend of model, local backdrop, and eyecatching fashion. Park Shin Hye was in New York City last month for fashion shows and also squeezing in a fashion shoot for Bazaar Korea April edition. She’s on city streets and rooftops with fantastic city views, making me long for a … Continue reading →
This is a great “yay or nay” poll – should jeans be washed or not? I’ve never thought this was even an option since clothing as an item ALWAYS need to be washed. How long you go before washing is personal but until TW-actress Rainie Yang revealed this week at a brand event that she never ever washes her jeans … Continue reading →
Styling still matters even with preternaturally beautiful people and I was not a fan of young actress Kim So Hyun‘s style in recently ended drama Radio Romance. She was playing older opposite male lead Yoon Doo Joon but she just looked like a little high school girl playing dress up. I guess even her swell acting can’t sell me that … Continue reading →
I totally forgot that Shin Hye Sun was also a student in School 2013 which launched the careers of Lee Jong Seok and Kim Woo Bin, so this is a reunion for her to do the short drama Death Song (Hymn of Death) with Lee Jong Seok. It’s an added reunion as Lee Sang Yeob is also joining the cast … Continue reading →
Pre-and post-pregnancy affects every woman differently but every single K-ent actress I’ve seen have bounced back looking exactly the same as before. Case in point Kim Tae Hee making her first post-baby media appearance five months after giving birth to her and husband Rain’s first child. If these pictures weren’t time stamped she would look identical to her pictures from … Continue reading →
The ratings are out for a new drama shakeup this Wed-Thurs on prime time K-dramas and I’d call it a pyhrric victory. The arrival of legal thriller Switch (Change the World) with Jang Geun Seok and Han Ye Ri brought in 7.0%, 7.9% for the first two Wed episodes and then 6.8% and 7.6% for the Thurs episodes. Contrast that … Continue reading →
I love my bed, spending moolah on the best mattress is an investment that pays dividends every night into the next morning when I wake up refreshed. If I could live my entire life on my bed I would but alas I have to get out of it to be a productive adult. But that only means I covet anything … Continue reading →
Happy doesn’t describe my reaction upon hearing the news that K-actress Choi Ji Woo just got married! Congrats to the cutest noona ever in and wishing her a lifetime of happiness. The ceremony of this Friday March 29th to her non-celebrity boyfriend who is described as someone working in a company job. She’s been working for nearly thirty years since … Continue reading →
Confirmation means another drama to look forward to as upcoming tvN sageuk Hundred Day Husband. Idol-actor D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) is taking on his first drama male lead role and also his first saguek role, and he couldn’t have gotten a better female lead as now also confirmed Nam Ji Hyun. She’s not only a talented child actress all grown … Continue reading →
This is such an out-of-nowhere dating couple I don’t really have any commentary to offer. But then again since I’ve been covering K-ent there have been plenty of random pairings so this isn’t wholly bizarre. K-ent is reporting that Oh Yeon Seo and Kim Bum are dating, and shortly after news broke their agencies confirmed the two met in early … Continue reading →
Man, these two make me grin cheek-to-cheek. The black and white couples outfits! The cute pink and white background! Their hand holding and sweet grins! Son Ye Jin and Jung Hae In may still have to content with the ratings uphill battle that all romance K-dramas have been dealing with these past few years when Pretty Noona Who Buys Me … Continue reading →
The first batch of 2018 J-doramas have wrapped up as the winter 2018 lineup has all finished airing and the spring 2018 doramas have arrived. I’m still playing catch up on two doramas but for the first that I’ve finished it’s easily a solid win and entertaining from start to end. Forensic medical dorama Unnatural with Ishihara Satomi and Iura … Continue reading →
