The red carpet of the Salvatore Ferragamo event in Seoul was where the glitterati of K-stars convened this past week. Decked out in the brand’s latest outfits and accessories, my eyes first went to Yoon Eun Hye since she’s so rarely out at events in Korea these past two years, so this event was clearly part of her concerted effort … Continue reading →
I find age appropriate attire such dressing requirement yet the distinction can sometimes be a fine line to toe. Thankfully the right batch of starlets were out in force at the Marc Jacobs event in Seoul this week, showing off lithe figures and fresh faces decked out in a mix-and-match variety of flower print outfits. Sooyoung goes for the baby … Continue reading →
The fall from grace for Yoochun has been steep and dragged out for the last year, which is long for a scandal but rather short when it comes to typical criminal investigations and civil complaints. He was cleared from all criminal investigation earlier this month while one accuser and her accomplices got jail sentences for making a false claim of … Continue reading →

The end of March wedding announcements keep on coming, with two in K-ent and also one from Hong Kong. Top HK singer-actor for the past three decades Aaron Kwok is tying the knot, in a timing that feels three decades too late since he’s 52 years old and this is his first marriage. But if Aaron is happy to finally settle … Continue reading →
Of all the K-ent stars to avoid further legal mistakes and scandals at all costs, it would be already scandal plagued Kim Hyun Joong who is now in another pickle with the law a month after he was discharged from the army. It might be safer to go back and serve two more years out of the limelight and the … Continue reading →
The career to Yoo In Na is one of the most steadily cyclical I’ve seen, toggling between major hits and uneventful roles. She’s been breakouts in four hit dramas playing second female leads, with Best Love, Secret Garden, You From Another Star, and now Goblin. But when she does main lead roles it hasn’t resonated as much, I have a love … Continue reading →
The first character posters are out for the C-movie adaption of popular romance novel Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms. The C-movie has the English title Once Upon a Time while the C-drama which aired early this year had the English title Eternal Love, which makes it easier to distinguish but I prefer to use the common original … Continue reading →
Here’s hoping third time’s the charm in the leading lady casting for upcoming SBS drama Suspicious Romance, formerly called Beware of this Woman or Be Careful of this Woman. Aside from the drama title change, the casting of the female lead is now onto the third iteration and I like this one a lot – Nam Ji Hyun has been … Continue reading →
So long for two years to the charming and hardworking Seo In Guk as he shipped out yesterday March 28th to enlist for his mandatory military service. His enlistment was done privately without fans or media present, and all we get is a blurry half face covered video chat still of him with newly buzzed hair. His enlistment was expected … Continue reading →

A day after Kim So Yeon and Lee Sang Woo announced their upcoming June wedding, also dating since last year couple Cha Ye Ryun and Joo Sang Wook shared news of their own impending nuptials. Joo Sang … Continue reading →
The South Korean wallets have spoken and a first ever prestigious award win isn’t enough to overcome the personal life gossip at the box office. Director Hong Sang Soo‘s latest indie film On the Beach at Night Alone starring Kim Min Hee premiered last Thursday in South Korea and after the weekend is ranked a paltry 9th on the box office … Continue reading →
