A Koala's Playground Posted on by

I would feel sorry for EXO fans, except the fans may be feeling so numb from the relentless departure pains that no one can feel a thing anymore. The long drawn out withdrawal of Chinese member Tao (Huang Zi Tao) from the boy band appears to have come to a definitive conclusion over the weekend as Tao’s recently established workshop … Continue reading →

China Remakes My Best Friend’s Wedding with Shu Qi, Feng Shao Feng, and Victoria Song

A Koala's Playground Posted on by

While this isn’t a movie that I think needs a remake, I’ll chalk it up to the nostalgia factor kicking in for making me actually curious about this project. China has confirmed a remake of the 1997 Hollywood movie My Best Friend’s Wedding, which wasn’t anywhere near Julia Robert’s breakout or best work but was still a hit when it was … Continue reading →

Fashion Fail Friday: Girl’s Day Goes for Short Shorts and Ends Up an Uncomfortable Eyeful

A Koala's Playground Posted on by

Where’s the voice of reason and sensibility, someone like fictional Music Bank PD Tak Ye Jin from the drama Producer, when such a sage person might have saved idol group Girl’s Day from a major embarrassing performance outfit fail. I wouldn’t have noticed this particular bout of K-pop idol fashion fail since there is many such instances to cite, other … Continue reading →
