Okay, I have no idea what I just watched but it’s all okay because it was so so soooooo good. The first episode of tvN mental health themed drama It’s Okay to Not be Okay (Psycho But It’s Okay) premiered this Saturday and the first episode was impressive and intriguing. Ratings for episode 1 was 6.093% AGB nationwide, and for … Continue reading →
Now that Im Soo Hyang has delivered a slew of big to small hit for the cable networks, she’s set her sights next on a prime time big three network slot with the upcoming MBC Wed-Thurs drama I Am the Prettiest. It’s weird, I’m not as allergic to her as much anymore, probably because she doesn’t overact the way Hwang … Continue reading →
The glorious and more importantly healthy return of K-actor Kim Woo Bin has arrived and goodness it’s a total breath of positivity in what has been a craptastic 2020 so far. It’s been three years since he took a leave of absence to deal with nasopharyngeal cancer and it took nearly two years for him to complete his treatment and be … Continue reading →
This year I haven’t found a C-drama to get me hooked yet so I haven’t been following the industry as closely, not to mention there are SO MANY new faces and names it’s near impossible to keep track. Can I have my early 2010-2015 babies back! I know then all lol. C-actress Zhao Li Ying came in at the later … Continue reading →
Four years in and this couple remains as adorable and low key as they started. I want so much for them to have a permanent happy ending but they are still young so that may be awhiles away but I hope they also have the maturity to keep growing stronger together. Real life current boyfriend and girlfriend and former costars … Continue reading →
Holy *#%& this makes me so so mad, and yes I know it’s her choice but goodness ARGH I WANT THIS BASTARD TO PAY! J-actress Sasaki Nozomi had to deal with dirty laundry being aired this week when news broke that her much older comedian husband Watabe Ken had been cheating on her with multiple women from repeated mistresses to … Continue reading →
This is not a surprising reunion and definitely a very smart one all around. K-actress Kim Hye Yoon is considering the offer to be the female lead in upcoming jTBC drama Spring Snowflake (Snowdrop) helmed by the PD and screenwriter of hit drama Sky Castle. She was one of the main younger cast leads and definitely sky rocketed to the … Continue reading →
I get a kick not from watching every K-drama Im Joo Hwan is in, despite really loving him as an actor, but from seeing what he does next because this man certainly jumps roles like a jack rabbit. In second leads alone he plays nice guy, clingy guy, weird guy, silent guy, and then super baddie guy, it’s like he’s … Continue reading →
OMG I love this fashion spread so so much! K-actors Cha Seung Won and Yoo Hae Jin have done multiple seasons of variety show Three Meals a Day: Fishing Village and is currently winning viewers and hearts on this most recent season. Ladies magazine Marie Claire Korea creatively paired the two together for the cover and pages of its July … Continue reading →
It’s the midway point for K-drama Dinner Mate (Shall We Have Dinner Together) and I’ve been watching intently but haven’t felt the urge to write it about until now. That’s probably because each episode feels like a bite, or perhaps part of a meal, so without the entire meal yet it’s hard to formulate a thoughtful review. It’s the midway … Continue reading →
K-dramas are no stranger to the anti-hero but making an uber baddie the male lead is pretty rare. What I’m bracing myself for is actually having to hate Lee Jun Ki in upcoming Flower of Evil because he’s already giving off total sociopath vibes and that means he’s killing it in the acting department. His character had erased his evil/bad … Continue reading →
Seeing the newest drama poster for It’s Okay to Not be Okay, a group one with all four leads Kim Soo Hyun, Seo Ye Ji, Oh Jung Se, and Park Kyu Young, the drama may not have a fantasy element but study above totally reminds me of IU‘s office in Hotel Del Luna. Seo Ye Ji’s cold alpha type personality … Continue reading →
I’m looking forward to OCN drama Train more and more, a combination of wondering if another drama can do the parallel worlds concept better and because all the promos so far have been fantastic. The latest are three official drama posters with leads Yoon Shi Yoon and Kyung Soo Jin in motion in both of their parallel world versions and … Continue reading →
