KBS premieres youth romance sageuk Moonlight Drawn by Clouds this Monday evening, and those still on the fence can check on the ten minute long preview released at the press conference a few days ago to decide whether to watch or not. I’m a hundred percent planning to watch, with two leads I love who also can act in Park … Continue reading →
Three out of six hotties isn’t a bad get for SBS variety show Running Man, especially if it’s three goofy and talented actors who have built up a bromance over the last six months playing onscreen brothers. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart: Ryeo (Bobogyungsim: Ryeo) is about to premiere on August 29th on SBS and the promo circuit is now crossing … Continue reading →

The Mandarin-speaking entertainment world has been on fire with weddings this summer of 2016, with two already in Ruby Lin–Wallace Huo and Chen Xiao–Michelle Chen, and another one coming along with Peter Ho and his fiancee. There’s a fourth one coming along that also serves to whittle down the remaining bachelors of the original Taiwanese F4 – actor-singer Ken Zhu … Continue reading →
Hoo boy, this is going to be one complicated watch for me with upcoming jTBC drama Fantastic. In paying homage to it’s title, the previews indeed look absolutely fantastic, with great music and visuals and tons of charm. But then the looming threat of the female lead starting off with a terminal illness diagnosis can’t be overlooked, and feels so … Continue reading →
The evolution of Lee Jun Ki continues with the upcoming K-drama version of Bu Bu Jing Xin, and despite this being his nth sageuk role in both drama and film I’m expecting to be wowed once again. The promotional circuit for Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart: Ryeo (Bobogyungsim: Ryeo) has been nothing short of a full court press, with the entire … Continue reading →
There’s finally an update on K-actress Yoon Eun Hye, and sadly it’s not an activity or event in Korea that may herald her return to K-ent. Yoon Eun Hye was in China last week attending a L’Oreal beauty launch event, dressed way too somber for a summertime fete with a black long sleeved dress with subtle contrasting panels in front. … Continue reading →

Having a drama fail to engage me despite starring an actor or actress I really like is becoming so routine now, and I cut my losses quick nowadays rather than slog on. It also means I fail to see how the performances are fleshed out as the drama progresses, only getting an initial glimpse before the story line or poor … Continue reading →

Once in rare instance comes along where I am wholly underwhelmed by drama posters yet I’m still super excited with the impending drama. That’s my reaction when the drama posters came out for SBS Wed-Thurs drama Incarnation of Jealousy, and I just want to ask where the art design team went that handled It’s Okay, It’s Love. Both are Gong … Continue reading →
It’s probably a good thing that TW-actor Wallace Huo got married to real life actress wifey Ruby Lin before starting filming for his next big role as the male lead in the mega production of the sequel to palace C-drama Legend of Zhen Huan. It’s good for two reasons – one is that he shaved his head in real life … Continue reading →
